mine too, although they are clean and i take care of them, there are really that look yellow. i just saw it on you tube and i searched it on the net to see if there are some bad effects of it. luckily, i saw no bad effects.
to make that, put baking soda on a small bowl. just use consumable amount. i use about a teaspoon. then gradually add water while mixing the baking soda. i add it drop by drop to make sure i won't put much water. when you get a paste consistency like of a toothpaste, it's ready to use then. soak your toothbrush there a brush it on your teeth. what i do is i brush my teeth first with toothpaste. after rinsing, i rub toothpaste on my tongue and i brush my teeth again with the baking soda. i do that cause i don't like the taste of baking soda, it's salty. rubbing toothpaste makes me taste the menthol taste of the toothpaste instead of the baking soda.
after 3 minutes of brushing, rinse. after that, you'll notice that your teeth are very clean and that they are whiter.

I floss before i brush (evening time b4 bed). When there were times i ran out of floß, i'd get a thread to use, which of course is too thick it does not get through between teeth. It has been such a routine, brushing feels incomplete w/o it.

it is really recommended by dentists. And yes, it is time consumming...specially if you have the whole 36 set of teeth. heheh

I'd tried flossing after brushing and I am surprised that there are still tiny pieces that left in between teeth that brushing cannot rid. So I guess flossing is very effective but time consuming.

No, not that painful. If only you have a sensitive gums, it might bleed if not properly executed.

I tried to floss everyday but sometimes I forgot to do so. But for me brushing will suffice. The only time I floss is when I feel or see that something is stuck in my teeth.

i need to but it takes too long to do and you have to be careful or else you could end up with bloody gums. you're right about the cavities bit, my dentist said the same thing along with brushing for at least two minutes. i wish they'd come up with a floss machine so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Yeah, the floss is i think too large to insert in between teeth and if you're going to floss all your teeth, it will take too long.
