possible champion in world cup 2010

I am not an expert. i am just a football fan.
the other day I was reading about the history and the past winners.
I came a cross an interesting point.
Whenever the world cup host was in SOUTH HEMISPHERE, the winner was from SOUTH HEMISPHERE too!! look at the results in 1930,1950,1962,1978!
Looking at this world cup results, you see that in general, team from South Hemispher hav erelatively better performance against the north hemisphere ones. team such as Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, New zeland...compared to Italy, England, France,Spain, Portugal,..
I know there are many factors based on which a team performs (altitude,...)but that was just intersting to me.
Maybe it is just a coincidence.
But does it mean the Champion will be again from South Hemisphere??!!

I will give you one more fact. Whenever a world cup has been held till date, it has been won either by a country from that continent or by Brazil. So looking at the way the African countries are shaping you can guess who the winner will be :) The history points to Brazil, Form too points to Brazil, probably class though points to Argentina.
Let's wait and watch.

the correct prediction of a champion is impossible now, because we all watched some unbelievable loses like Germany against serbia .but from other teams there are several possibilities for the champions, among them are Argentina, spain, brazil, etc . the more chances are for latin american countries like brazil ,Argentina, paraguay etc.
according to my opinion it is the argentina the one who is going to be the champion of the world cup .they have a lot of world class players in their team like messi,aguero,higuiene , palermo , heinze, veron and many more
the messi is considered to be the man of this world cup even though there is no contribution from him till now ,the overall perfomance of messi was just great . so i will say that argentina would be the champions

Interesting information you got there considering that south hemisphere countries has been on the win column more than the ones from the north. If I were to pick a possible champion in the World Cup, I highly favor Argentina to win in all. Lionel Messi has played very well even though he hasn't scored a goal yet. He is the world's best football player today in my opinion.
The defending champion Italy has been showing a poor performance and I guess we will crown a new champion by next month. Best of luck to your team.
