Waiting to Hear The End of the Song

I think most of us have done this at least once. You pull into a parking spot at home, a mall, at work, but you just have to listen to the song that's playing until the end.
My friends and I used to joke it was against "the code," whatever that is, to shut off the radio if "Free Bird" was playing.
What are the songs you won't shut off.
Here is a short list of mine:
1. Free Bird (live version)
2. Satisfaction
3. Stairway to Heaven
4. Frankenstein
5. Cold Sweat

Yes you're right! Of course there are some things to consider why we need to listen until end, right? I don't shut off my radio if it's my favorite old slow rock songs! Sometimes I feel the old days are here again.

I'm with you! You sure hit the nail on the head with this one.
It's like a lightning bolt going through my spine, or as some might say, like nails on a chalkboard, when music is cut off before the ending.
I can't even leave a store that's playing a song that I'm singing alone to, until the ending...even when I'm standing at the checkout! Then of course, they'll play another favorite, and I'm stuck there again, until a song comes on that I'm not too crazy about. Then I'll leave....maybe.
A few of my favorites are:
1. Sultans Of Swing
2. Hotel California
3. CCR's Suzie Q & I Put A Spell On You
Good one!
Cheers;
