I guess you are just one of those that is bitter that your candidate has not won. Well for one, we all live in a democratic country and we respect the voice of the majority in here. No one is questioning how he won this election. Everybody was made fair and square in here. Let us respect the rule of the majority. It is not how brainwash or whatever you call it. Let him make his move as the elected president and not whine as he has not yet made his first presidential decree for pete's sake. Many are just too speculative about what he can and cannot do. Let him do what he is supposed to do and you do what you are supposed to do as a citizen of this country. We become a country full of complainers and blamers in here maybe many don't realize that those complainers, whiners and blamers are the one that are putting this country down.

Yup I guess for those unhappy with the results go and work in other countries maybe from there their negative attitude will be replaced by a positive ones. It is just sad that many are too attached with their chosen candidates. They could not move on when things did not go as they wanted. While their candidates have already moved on with their political ambition and would just wait for their turn in the future these followers seem to have not move on.

I totally corroborate with all the things you've said. Another advise here is that if others are disappointed about Noynoy's presidency then it is time for them to migrate which is they are free to do so rather than worrying of what would be our future with Noynoy.

For those who do not like the new president, rather than leaving the country, stay and remain to be critical. It is through those who keep asking questions and are critical of government projects that we can learn and improve. I mean, it might be a good thing for Noynoy to have detractors and nay-sayers. At least there's a chance for him to prove himself right. That's better than everyone automatically loving the new president as soon as he sits in office, that might just make him complacent. I didn't vote for him either, but I am looking forward to see how he will run the country. We are all in for an exciting ride. In a few months, we'll have more things to talk about. :)

The election is over and he has won by a big margin. Let him work first and prove you right before making any dire predictions. If everyone had your attitude I can see why this country is going nowhere - negative thinking is such a downer. GMA has walked out on a lot of people and that was when she was president. When she was just running, she was all smiles and hugs. Erap claimed a platform for the poor but when he got elected, he refused to listen to advice and instead would tell his advisers to run for president first. They all have their quirks, and if that's the worse thing that you can say about Noynoy, so what?

I agree on your point in here. We cannot do anything anymore in here. Unless there is a coup d etat that would stop this from pushing through. We should give chance for this government to go as the duly constituted government. It is just too soon to shout boo for this administration. I know there will be time for that but for now it is time for them to do their thing.

I agree! Although I did not vote for him, all I can do now is give him a chance to prove his worth. It's too early to say that those who voted for Noynoy made a mistake. Being so negative esp. about our nation's affair will get us nowhere. :(

I did not vote Noynoy Aquino even if you check my previous posts here before the elections but I have nothing against him. Let us just respect what the mass of Filipino people voted for and just pray for the best to happen starting with our leaders. If we will just be negative and sour on this matter, nothing can really happen to us. Besides, it is still us Filipinos who can make a difference, that is if you depend too much on politicians platforms. It is still too early for criticisms and please don't say booo, respect the person too. Just accept that he is now the President of our country.

I like your stand on as a voter. You are much fairer in treating this new government a chance to make it good and right. What makes this country a bad one is because of the people who supported those that lose are the one that pulls this government down the fact that he has not even started to run this government. We should stopped the crab mentality that still exist in our culture.

Hmmm. How can you say that he is a big mistake when he haven't even started governing our country yet? I didn't vote for him, but I am willing to give him a chance, after all, he IS the next president of our country.

I agree. Years ago I did not vote for Gloria, but I did gave her a chance. Now that Aquino won the election and the people have spoken, it is only fair that we give him the chance to prove his worth.

Hello jean, I completely understand your sympathy and bitterness since i also had that strong passion for my own candidate before. but you know, anger will let us nowhere and will only hurt ourselves. am sure who ever your candidate was doesn't want you doing this either. let us forget election and moved on. forgive them since they don't know what they were doing (i read your response with eileen), besides why are you fighting against an old woman, you gotta respect the lady..

This is just sad that there are people who could not really move on with their lives. While their candidates are already moving on with their lives and maybe would just find another opportunity in the near future. I still can see some that have not move on. Let the election season be close and prepare to become citizens of this country and not become divided for there is no reason why we should not support the incoming government. If there is one valid reason then that is the time we should be doing something in here.

I voted for Noynoy but if I vote for Villar well I'll be damned likewise all the Filipinos. It's your prerogative. But who do you think is the right guy. You should have discuss it too so I can give my opinion about your "right guy" candidate.

I did not vote for Noynoy because he has no proof of his competence to show as a leader. But he was chosen by the majority. I just hope these people are right. I do believe that it was God's will that he won, maybe the Almighty has plans. Who are we to Judge his wisdom.

Majority means he got more than half of the votes from the entire voting population. If I'm not mistaken, he was not elected by the majority. I think he is just like other Philippine presidents. I think he was elected by a plurality of votes (i.e., he got more votes than the other candidates, but not more than half the total).

way a go bloggeroo,. it's the plurarity alright and never majority but yeah i agree we should just respect the majority of the voters. i still don't know what lies ahead but i do hope it can be a better one. otherwise, we are a complete screw up. but like every one said, let's hope for the best. we shouldn't whine anymore and do our own thing to help others.

This is the kind of mentality that we do not need. Sorry for dissing on your thread but I think we should just all move on and try to do what we can and stop criticizing someone who has not done anything wrong yet. Just to state the facts, I voter for Bro. Eddie and i think there was definitely something anomalous about the past elections. Nevertheless, I respect the President-elect as the head of the country and support the good projects he plans on implementing our country (just like I did with the outgoing president who i truly despise). The least we need is someone going around rubbing salt to our wounds by saying how stupid we are for committing a mistake. I say why don't we just help each other, rather than diss on someone who hasn't done anything yet. There will always be supporters and haters, but my take on this is; support the good points, condemn the bad. All is done, we can't do anything about it now, let's just wait and see. We act when there is a legitimate complaint, we strike when there is a legitimate anomaly. We will all pay for our deeds one way or the other, but dwelling on them just makes us suffer all the more.

I really think we Filipinos are too dependent on our leaders that we rely on them to much to save us from this economic slump our country is experiencing. No matter who won the presidency, none of those candidates has the power to save our nation. We should be looking at ourselves instead of blaming our leaders. It is up to us citizens to strive and save our country from this economic turmoil. I guess most of us Filipinos just lack a sense of nationalism to carry the burden on our back and strive hard so that we can help lift our country from this mess our nation is in right now. Most of us are just satisfied with blaming our leaders instead of doing our part. I really believe that being the president of our country right now is really not an honor due to the many problems our country is experiencing right now. It is actually a sacrifice to be the next president of the Philippines. So why won't we just give our leaders a chance to prove themselves before we even judge them and in the mean time do our part in helping our nation.

I am not pro-noynoy but since he won already, I am not against him. I totally agree with you. Many people will just find reasons to blame anything to the president or whoever the leader is, without looking at their own fault. Everybody should work, everybody must do his part and not only the president. We should not depend our status of living to the president.

i didn't vote for him and i am not expecting much from him. but then since he is already there, i think that what we can do now is to watch for his moves and take our part as citizens. i hope he will do good.

I did not vote any actually. I am not even pro-Noynoy or anybody else. It's not because I don't want to practice my right as a Filipino but I'd like to what most Filipino wanted to be the President. Most of those who ran for presidency had their own promotion and propaganda actually if you were following the news. So I think we should not isolate Noynoy from these practice. This is not new to our political system. Whenever a president wins, whoever it is, there are always people against the president. Probably without these people or groups, there will be now way for check and balance. I respect your opinion here in mylot for a discussion, but we should also respect the decision of many Filipino people. The best thing we can do is to pray for the best thing to happen, support his projects and not be pessimistic.

well if that is your opinion...for me no matter who the president is as long as each and everyone of us do not have to urge to have good governance our country will still remain in its condition just like the past years. We should all help in order to change the way politicians rule our government from the barangay's position up to the higher position..Lets just pray and hope that he really makes a difference!!!Good luck to all us...

Well, let us just hope that he still has those media experts and promoters in his employ for the rest of his term. I just hate it when the highest leader of the country do embarrassing things.
