I would like to know- back in school/college, were you the teacher's pet or were you one of those annoying pesky kids and a nuisance to the teacher????
When I was in school, I somehow was always caught by the teachers to answer questions. The worst part was I used to always be dreaming about something else, classic example of body in one place but mind elsewhere!! And that's precisely when the teacher thought of catching me and I was always dumb struck and wouldn't know the answer as I was caught unawares and they probably thought I was the most stupidest child in class. . In college, again I was always the target to be caught by the lecturer. There wasn't a single lecturer who didn't know me-I was famous or rather infamous!!! . I never paid attention in class, used to either keep texting away or chatting away with my friends in front of the lecturer by putting mu hands near my mouth to cover my moving lips!! . Another pass time in class was my pal and me used to sit at the last row and chat using the old fashioned way of writing on paper. We used to have a huge sheet of paper and pass it back and forth among the two of us. I even saved some of those paper chats!!
Tell me about your experiences in school and college.

hi tangeryne I was not the a pest nor the teachers pet, like the middle
child in a family I was just there, and got excellentgrades but nobody
'ever really saw me just like the day I was nine months pregnant and was the second on the list to see my ob gyn. so she called all the others, then I finally called, did you forget someone? I was second on the list. she blushed and apologized, saying oh my Mrs. Hatley I just did not see you? now how could that be? my belly was out to there and she did not see me? Give me a break. So my school expereiences were mixed from happy to sad. College was different as I went back at 64 to get my degree. I was always almost always the oldest one inthe class but surprisingly the students really accepted me.

During most of my grade school days I was the teacher's pet. i can not ever remember a time when I would have ever been called a teacher's pest. All teachers seemed to like me and dote on me. I know there were classmates that were jeaalous of this. It didn't always make schhol easy. I didn't mind being a teacher's pet. I always did my besst in school. If a teacher took notice of this, I was proud.

Well as I see, from pet to pest, most of the time you are the pet. Pet since they like you. If you are a pest they might have send you out of the room. You shouldn't be mad about this teachers of yours, based on your story, I think it is also your fault why they treat you like that. And we are not talking about one teacher here. If it is only one teacher, you should be mad at her, in your case, as you said it, your teacher in high school treated you the way your teacher in college did, so there might be something wrong with you. have you thought about that? by the way I was a teacher for 7 years.. Not in english cause I wasn't good about it, but a technical subjects.

In school, I was the quiet, non-obtrusive child who all the teachers loved because I didn't say a word :P Plus I used to ace most of my classes so that helped a little I guess. In college, I did a total 180, and didn't really bother with any of my classes, because the lectures put me to sleep! I have one year to go and the only thing I'm going to miss is passing notes to my friend and doodling on her arm when she's not paying attention :D And in college, I sit in the "troublemakers" row, and all my lecturers unanimously hate us all because we're the noisiest, most annoying students in the entire class!
