What do you think about this site, getting money and connecting you to people with whom you chat, can you really call them your "friend", are friends not special people, what is your view?

rent a what? That's crazy! If they really were friends. you wouldn't need to rent them, let alone pay for them. It should be "rent an ear". You are paying these people to listen to you and emphatize with you, maybe give you a few advices. Yes they are there when you're really down and you want talk, but they aren't there with you in your happiest times. You can't hang out with them or anything. Also, friendship is a mutual bond. You can't call someone a friend if the other doesn't regard you as one.

Exactly...it would be better to call it "Rent An Ear" rather than making friendship this cheap, it might be beneficial for the time being for may be very few people who are very much stressed out but wont they want the relation to prolong?

having a true friend is priceless, nothing canr eally compare to it and if you are using this site then you arereally low and need to find new friends t hat a good to you and obviously you are a low life. friends are something that cannot be replaced so i dont even think that this site would even work out very well to sane people who have true friends

Firneds don't ask for money or anything lie that, they are there when you need, to support you. Sometimes they are far away but it doesn't make anyone more or less friends from who is close to you.

Rent a friend? Thats new. Well, you can never call a friend "a friend" if that person is only gonna be there for you because your paying them. A friend should be there for you without asking anything in return. You dont need to pay them just for them to hang out with you.

that was exactly my thought on it, why dont we give them some other name rather than calling them a "friend" right?
