Why played the italian players with black bands?

Yesterday in the match Italy - New Zealand the Italian players played with black bands on their hands. Do you know why? Thanks in advance for the answer.

I do not know why they played with black bands in the game. Probably they were mourning the fact that they were poor on the field and could not take out the all whites!! It was a real poor game from Italy and it could result in them making an early exit. Cheers! Ram

sorry,I don't know,I want to know the reason too.but I don't like italian,my favorite team is england,but they didn't play well too.
