Can you live without using the internet for a week?

I use the internet everyday and I think I would just feel awful not being able to use the internet for a day, let alobe a week!

Exactly how I feel! generally, I don't actually like having to use the internet, but it has just become such a habit and a big part of how we run our daily lives, I dread to think what would happen if the world web suddenly crashed...(touch wood!)...:)

I agree. I use the Internet for work, stress relief and earning money. not having it for a normal day would be very difficult for me. I can live without it if I'm on vacation or out with friends for the whole day :)

Same here, I was away for a couple of weeks last years and didn't use the internet or computer for all that time - I was like, wow!

I could do it but wouldn't like to. I play on too many gaming sites that would cause me to loose out on paid spins. But if I could get someone to log in and out for me so that I didn't loose them I would be happy to stay off the internet for a while. It would be a great break and give me a chance to go explore something else.

I actually get worried about the gaming sites, particularly for my sister who seems to spends hours on them, I know how addictive and mesmerising they can be. They should the number of hours one can log onto them...

nope never i cant do so.....because internet keeps me connected to world and everything....in the last week my internet got disconnected for 3 days because the main line wire was got broken due to a buldozer which was helping in a road construction.....so i was gone mad at that time....because i got bored with my pc and tv so i cant do so happy mylotting

As I am working at a reception I need Internet every day at least for the needs at work.But even if I don't need it for my job I sometimes feel bored and need to read something or watch some funny clip.Our pc was not here for 2 day and I went mad.It was to the service and I called them to bring it back in the fastest possible way.

I feel I have to use the internet eeryday now too, it's all part of a daily routine, it's almost like an addiction and there just seems to be some kind of an emptiness if I don't use it for a day. I actually have to get out of the house to make myself not think about it...! ;)

I could definitely try and not use the internet for a week. However, I think that it would be very difficult to do so, as I really do enjoy being able to use the internet and do things like that. Although it might be really difficult, I'm sure that I could manage to do it.

As much as I love being on the internet I can definitely survive a week without. I went on vacation last year and didn't touch the computer for seventeen days. I got use to it after not having it around and I was ok with it. I guess I can say I adapt well to change. It wouldn't be the end of the world for me. Sure I would miss it but I would find things to take its place till I got it back.However, I would dread havin to come back to all the emails I would have in my inbox.
