Why does MyLot get all mad when you talk about the pop-up's on their site?

I get a ton of pop-ups and my pop-up blocker goes crazy whenever I get on MyLot. I've even had a few slip past my pop-up blocker before. Whenever I've posted stuff about this in the past, MyLot always deletes my comments. I understand they are paying us for the activity we put in, but what's wrong with asking a fair question about the pop-ups that come from this site? Even if it's the advertisers generating the pop-ups, at least admit it... and quit censoring me. This isn't North Korea.

I have been here for over 3 years. I have used IE, Firefox and now Chrome and I have never ever seen a pop-up on myLot.

I remember from when I didn't use a pop up blocker that you would get some screen element convincing you to join mylot. I am not sure on whether it was a pop up or not but maybe that is what your blocker is actually blocking.

I've never had pop-ups from mylot, you must have some spyware or something on your pc

As with everyone, I don't get a single pop up when I'm in Mylot. I wonder whether there's something wrong with your pc. Try scanning your pc with malware or anti virus progams. Maybe your pop up blocker is the culprit. Try to uninstall it and see whether you still get those pop up.

Are you sure your computer is free of adware? Try to scan your computer using appropriate software. Adware sometimes causes a lot of annoying pop ups to appear. I don't find MyLot to be very North Korea'ish, sure some things are removed but it actually makes sense. Mylot has some sensitive points you cannot discuss such as the earning model, this is to ensure that they don't have to keep on updating the model and to keep the site livable.

Two things: Get rid of your cookies. Get an excellent grade of security software. I don't think this is a myLot problem. Good luck. You will find the problem with your computer if you do these two things.

What pop ups? I have Never encountered that since the day I started here... And this is actually the first time I heard about the issue on pop ups... I am using mylot for almost a year now... Never have a problem like that.
