Anyone remember the Commodore Vic-20 or another 80s computer system fondly?

When I was a kid in the 1980s a friend of mine had one of these computers. It was a very basic machine and not very powerful, but it had some fun games. What was interesting about this computer is that it took ROM cartridges as well as tape input to load programs.
I remember spending hours playing a Pac-man clone called "Cosmic Cruncher" on this computer, but I can't remember the names of any of the other games!
Anyone else play games on a Vic-20?

Yeah I remember owning a Spectrum computer, I loved playing games on it, and my favourite was Spy Hunter, I loved that game and I remember the joysticks we used to use. The only thing I hated about the Spectrum Computer was the fact that the games were on cassette tapes like your music used to be, and once you put the tape in the machine, it made an awful noise, and had horrible fuzzy lines come up on the TV, a bit like a TV that had lost its aerial or something, and the after a while the game would load. But me and my brother used to play on it after school, throughout the late 80's and early 90's I would say, then I think we got a Nintendo with push in cartridges for games, as a Christmas present from our parents. Oh the memories!

I got a Spectrum for Christmas when I was about 12. Spy Hunter was fun, The indestructable cars that would try to ran you off the road were nasty! LOL!

Yeah I had to break down and buy some of those old systems from ebay after watching the angry video game nerd. he does all these reviews on bad 80's games and talks about being a kid playing them and it sure does bring back memories. It's great fun to still play them too. I was playing keystone capers for the atari 2600 today. most of the games for the vic-20 were original titles like ms.pacman frogger, qbert and pole position but they did use alot of the same software to write other games. however, itellivision, now those guys had just stright copies of games they renamed.
note: if you serch for AVGN to see his reviews. he uses fowl language, so just a heads up if it offends you.

My first game system was an Atari. I remember it fondly and laugh when I think how much fun I had back then playing those games. The graphics were awful, but we thought it was wonderful. I loved playing tanks and pitfall.
