Hi MyLotters,
It could be a diary or a notebook where you are free to express your young and innocent feelings at an early age or even at old age.I used to write my personal things in my diary and used to keep it somewhere beyond the preying eyes.I used to maintain secrets.
What about you?Would you please share your secrets with me?
Thanks,
Happy MyLotting!!

Hi, yoursjannat. I don't keep a diary. But I do keep an notepad that I write all of my personal appointments down. I used to keep a diary when I was a teenager, but that drive of interest vanished many years ago. After my aunt discovered what I wrote into my diary, I no longer wrote anything anymore. I felt like my secrets were out in the open too much.

When I was still young, I really kept a journal with me. I write my daily activities there. It was really fun for me to just express myself there. All my emotions, my secrets and what not. But when the 20th century started with all the high-tech gadgets around, I switched from writing journals to typing blogs. I don't really post my blog about personal stuffs. I just keep it in my laptop and the only thing that keeps it safe from being read is its password. I really make sure I carry my secrets with me to my grave.
Happy mylotting as well.

I kept a diary too. I remember I used to write everything in it. It's probably packed away in the attic somewhere. I don't use a dairy anymore. Maybe I should. I rarely express my personal thoughts in written form anymore. Usually, I tell my boyfriend. I don't really bottle up anything.

Hi meem & stephanie,
Yes,gone are those days when we used to write our personal stuffs in something may be a personal diary and hide it from the imaginary prying eyes of some imaginary curious fellow. Now those pen and paper has been supersheded by hi tech gadgets and touch pads. And with age we do stop writing for some unknown reason. But you know, each of us has a story and when we read our story long after we just feel that those innocence of our young mind has come back and we feel thrilled for some time.We feel the purity of our mind of that young age.Isn't it?

Hi yoursjannat, I usually would like to express my feeling or thought then in my dairy during my teenage days. I had especially mountains of stuffs to write when I was in blue mood or encountering matters which made me to feel disappointed and frustrated. I would feel very much easy and relaxed after venting out them in words. My daily seemed like my faithful mate and would
accept whatever I told her quietly. I trusted her totally for she would never ever to reveal any of my secret
I had never written diary anymore after I had got my first office job. I felt really exhausted after a hard day work. What I preferred most was to lie down on my soft and comfortable bed to have a proper rest I would still try to jot down certain important matters in my dairy when necessary. After having my pc later I tend to type everything which is worth to keep in it nowadays.
Happy posting!

I started blogging on Live Journal several years ago. I have some public entries and friend's only entries but all of the more personal entries are made private. I make most of my work complaints into private entries as I'm always worried about someone I work with finding my journal.

Hi, yoursjannat. I used to have a diary one time. But not anymore. I have given this up since I became older. Plus my aunt used to read what I have written in it too. It was no longer a sacred secret any longer. I don't have a diary right now. I do keep an appointment book that I use to write my important dates in though. I keep this inside of my purse.

I keep a journal of sorts. I don't really write my deepest, darkest secrets in there it's more for me to keep track of my feelings. I sometimes have a hard time expressing my feelings or knowing what to do when I'm feeling upset/angry/happy, etc. So I write my feelings out, which really helps. Not so sure you'd call it a diary at all - I'd say a journal!

Hi,
Though I've tried to maintain diaries but I failed miserably in every attempt. So I tried to come up with something more simple, poems, prose and drawings. I composed poems to express my strong feelings. I wrote prose when my feelings are moderate. When things amused me, I drew cartoons. In fact, I published couple of cartoons in school magazines. That was a awesome era of creativity. All of these creation were definitely personal, in the sense that they were the excerpt of my own real life experience. Thanks.
God bless you.
