I recently signed up to a freebie site, I wanted to see if it was really possible to get a "Free" laptop. (I was trying to get it for myself, so my wife could get hers back) but I guess the catch is you have to get so many referrals, well I guess that's a problem for me, because I don't know to many people who trust the freebie sites to do it. Has anyone on here come across such a freebie site? and if so how did that work out for you? Times are getting tough, and I am already in a new notch on my belt so any help would be appreciated. Think I will try out this site and see what happens.

I do not think that you can get a laptop for free. Usually what I notice is that you have to sign up for several offers that often cost more money then the laptop would cost. I use a freebie site that allows me to sign up for free samples but that is all they are, a sample.

yeah guess that makes sense. I was brought up to believe nothing in life is free, and I guess i still believe that.

My dear, there is nothing free in this world. I have checked out many of these so called freebies. You have to work really hard to get all the referrals. Your friends might get annoyed if you pester them to join. In addition to that often you also have to buy something. So please beware and read everything very carefully. Whatever you do, do not give out your credit card number.

i am in canada and belong to a few freebie sites and have gotten some stuff in the mail that i have requested as freebies, so yes, in my opinion, the sites are real but i find that not everything you request comes in.

If I understood well you are talking about a GPT site. In this case I agree that it would be a bit difficult to get all the needed referals. Instead of that I propose to check for freebie sites that give coupons, cashbacks or they have contests that you can enter for free. I have such a site in my profile that I hope it can help you on this. Good luck

I am also interested to know if there is somebody who got free from that freebie site. I wonder too if that is true? Nothing is free in the world that's for sure. Well, free sample, you can find some but for a valuable thing like laptop, iphone, ipad etc? it is very impossible for me to believe. For me, I am not wasting my time with that freebie site. I just look for legit sites where I can earn spending my time in there.

Hello and welcome to MyLot willinate39. I have joined many freebie sites that did actually send a free sample of specific products provided by the companies who are trying to get feedback from consumers. StartSampling was great about sending a free sample & just asked you to try it & fill out a short questionaire on the product. They would return the feedback to the company providing the samples. Sometimes just filling out the survey would qualify you for a cents or dollars off coupon too. The incentive being you would be interested enough with the freebie to actually buy the product in the stores. So, in some cases you can get real freebies. In your case, the Free laptop offer you responded to is not quite so easy. In many cases they require you to participate in X number of offers in order to get your "Free" item. In most cases these "offers" cost you money so it doesn't turn out to be free after all. I definately recommend reading the find print on these offers carefully so you know what they require from the start.
