Did you know that there was once a chicken that survived without a head for 18 months?
Yes, it was Mike.
When Mike, the chicken, was decapitated, he refused to lay down and die. While many birds slaughtered this way will appear to run around for a few seconds, it's actually a nerve/adrenalin response by the body, with no actual intent to escape. They drop down, and die. But not Mike.

It is just his fate to live another 8 months without a head. It must be very hard for him - not be able to crow out and see the love hens around him. Finally, nobody will eat him since he was headless for 18 months!

Poor chicken, I really don't like the idea of killing animals specially those I am taking care of. I pity Mike.

It's so funny I'll cry of laughter, and it's stupid too because noone really likes chickes but we like the taste of fried ones. Hah, Mike is a good name for a survivor chicken. If you put him in a cage with other decapitated chickes it's not like they saw it from one another :) Keep the good stories coming, mspitot.

This may be one of the wierdest things I have ever heard of but I am sorry to say that I don't believe it is true. This is definitely a hoax.
