My pick for this world cup is a South American Team. It is going to be either Brazil or Argentina to win the world cup. I would put Paraguay as dark horses in this race. Amongst the European nations, Germany and Spain will go long in this tournament. Cheers! Ram

To me it looks like there will be a South American winner this year. The European giants have looked sleepy, but Brazil and Argentina have looked very sharp. Of the two, I think Brazil is more focused and better coached so they are my pick to win. As for my favorites, I'm rooting for the USA, Uruguay, Slovenia, and South Korea...I like underdogs!

i think brazil and portugal are having maximum chances ...but i am with brazil this time.....i am from india so we dont our own team to support thats why i am supporting brazil now....and portugal is also nice....i'll be happy if any one of them will win world cup happy mylotting

I think it will be Brazil, even though I am personally not a fan of their team. Also Spain is possible. I think it will be a Brazil-Spain final for sure, but I am not sure who will win (probably Brazil though, even though I am hoping for Spain!)

well agentina is showing prowes, but they hav to do better. i like underdogs too but in this case the underdogs has get more experience to win the cup, so in world cup i root for the favorites.

even though portugal and brazil are doing well i still belive that argentina will win the cup.

Hi dhs no for me it is not difficult to choose a winner from among all the teams that contain superstars.For me it's the superstars who influence results of a match but it's the team that produces those results.A team without any superstar can go a long way if they can play team game.Also it must not be forgotten that it is these tournaments like the World Cup that give the podium for the new superstars.Beside World Cup is to be won by a team and not by any superstar.For me the team to beat in this tournament is Brazil.Let me tell you that I am an Argentine fan and there are reasons why I chose Brazil.They are..1)The defensive organisation of this Brazilian side is Brilliant and though they have let in a couple of goals yet the defense is better than most of the sides..2)The attack is a potent force to reckon with..3)A defensive midfield is functioning properly.However there are a few weaknesses too..1)Lack of creative midfielders in the team..2)If the opponent exerts pressure on Brazil's defensive third then the Brazilians can falter.However in this edition I don't think that there is any team who is capable eniough to challenge Brazil and so the night of 11th July will be Brazil's.

i think brazil will be much likely to win the 2010 world cup, they are unbeaten so far and they proved their skills to ivory coast. but theu will be closely contested by potugal. lets see who wins on their match.
