Noynoy on Presidency

this is a biased opinion. for those who might be offended, please pardon me. but i think i have the right to express my opinion. to the Philippines, do you think you voted for the right leader? do you think just because Noynoy carries the Aquino blood he's cut for a good leader? I personally think that Noynoy is ready to take the seat but isn't ready to lead. It doesn't take a genius to spell out the capability of the guy. I hope i am wrong with this, but sooner or later, he's gonna disappoint a lot of Filipinos is he doesn't put himself in the game. His complaints and temper wouldn't earn him the respect he needs. If only i can tell him, "hey NOy. you didn't sign up for a grand vacation. work on the votes you got." In addition, do you feel that he is cut to be the leader for our national defense?

WE can only judge him not fitted when he finally is seated and is doing his job already. For now, we all have no choice but accept the reality he is our president. I guess there is no better judge for his capability is not what you see now but what you will see in the future. Unfortunately, we do not know what our future is except if you are a fortuneteller. Everything we say about the person today might just be different from what he will become. So for now, I think the best we can do is sit tight and see what he can and cannot do. If we see some mistakes in the performance of his duty then we can say our piece in here but for now we just have to accept the things we all have chosen as a nation.

personally i think he lacks all the essential elements of a leader... but he is there now, about to take the oath...might as well give him the chance to lead the country... i guess, kris is there to tell him what to do - yaiks!!!! poor philippines... but as concerned citizens, we can still make a difference in our own small way:) just be responsible citizens, that would really make a big difference.

It's not fair to prejudge him when he hasn't even started yet. There are people who aren't good in one thing but excels in another, and hopefully Noynoy would show that when he takes office as President. What would you feel if somebody judges you by your looks and not by who you really are? Noynoy is no different. I suggest we give him a chance, if he messes up then we that's the time to act. No sense pointing fingers this early.

I hope that Noynoy will be able to realize that he is already the President of the Philippines, not just an ordinary citizen. I also wish that he should start realizing that he should stop complaining on what happened during the revious administration. he must do his own thing.

hi goddessjes, I agree with you in a way, but President pnoy is about to take the leadership of the country as the president soon. we might as well also give him a chance.. for us filipinos, why do we always blame the president for all issues and problems in the society..Perhaps we should cooperate..let us all pray and do our responsibility as a filipino.. and do our own ways to help for better philippines.. Noynoy Aquinos task is not easy, very stressful but powerful...'

We have no choice but to give him a chance. I've been very supportive of every government that I encountered. I do my part as a citizen, because honestly, a good leader isn't enough. We all need to work for a better Philippines. That's what i've been doing eversince I opened my eyes to politics and humanitarian causes

yes, you have. i want share my opinion also. although i see him weaker than the other candidates but what i realized was the last president was tough and intelligent but she made a lot of problems in our country. what our country needs is a leader who has heart for our country not being too intelligent. His mother was not also ready to take the Presidency after Edsa Revolution but she made a history.

Yes, I agree, it's a biased opinion. Still, we are all entitled to one. After all, this is a democratic country thanks largely to Noynoy's parents. I see that you were a baby during people power so you have no personal experience as to how it is to be truly muzzled in your speech and actions. That is why probably that you, and your generation, cannot see the promise that is in Noynoy. I believe that we are largely shaped by our experience and our parents. Noynoy went through a lot when he was growing up. When he was growing up, his father was a prisoner. Sure, he was a political prisoner, but at that time, the distinction did not matter except that they were guarded more heavily and there was no habeas corpus or writ of amparo to compel the government to produce to assure relatives that he is still alive. Noynoy was made stronger by all of this, and even all the bloody coups that the loyalists did. With all the violence that he witnessed, even his own assassination, he could easily have become vindictive. But to live side by side with his enemy is a badge of courage. Finally, as letranknight said, you are too late. The people have spoken and a plurality of them disagree with your opinion. Personally, I think that you are too early --- for doomsayers. Let him act first before you judge him. You say that he has temper. So did GMA, and she has it worse.

I have voted for him and I am giving him my thumbs up. I think he will do well as president, being single and the only son of a hero and former President of the country. Let us allow him to feel like a real leader by giving him our support. Our negative thoughts and suspicious minds will not be of help. Now is the time to help our country by giving support to our new President, allowing him to take the reigns of leadership without obstruction.

Good day.. I agree with you. For me the heart is more important than the mind and the so called experience. I mean is this all the defect one can find out of noynoy? how about the defects of the other running presidents? Oh wait let's see.. Ah the one playboy and also a corrupt one. Oh the other ah a disciple of a very corrupt president and the other, oh a multi billionaire who wants to become richer. Are these the guys you wanted us to have vote for? I know his not the best of a candidate but at least his not one of the worst. And about experience? what about it? you mean to say if one has no experience one has no right to try? If that's the case then nobody should become parents. Why? parenthood is on the job training. we don't get the chance to try and have an experience before becoming an actual parents. It just happens and the learning process comes from the heart.

I totally believed that I have voted for the RIGHT LEADER wherein I could trust his integrity and being passionate to serve our country with humility and sense of responsibility that will do anything against the corruption or at least to stop it. I did not voted for him just because of the theme that he delivers, if that could be the only case then I would rather choose Manny Villar that I would believe on his theme "Kay Manny Villar Magtatapos ang ating Kahirapan" (The poverty ends to Manny Villar). Carrying the Aquino blood especially as a son of our heroes who believes that Filipino is worth dying for and the one who made the triumph of the peaceful People Power Revolution is actually a BIG ADVANTAGE that I included to TRUST Noynoy for choosing him to lead our country, I believe that Noynoy is capable to use the influence of his parents to lead for our national defense. I would only think that the only people who will be disappointed on his presidency are of course for those who does not believe in him and worst case are his haters and detractors who are always thinking of what would be our future with him? There are other candidates that complaints and has a temper which is worst compare to Noynoy, worst thing is that he did not even won on his own town that they even gave their trust to Noynoy Aquino.

Of course you have the right to express your opinion. You don't live in a communist country isn't? I just don't get it, you said Noy is ready to take the seat as a president but he is not ready to lead? Isn't taking the sit as president means take the lead? I am sorry but I really don't get your logic on that. All I can say is that, "Don't judge the book with is bookstore...." LOL! I mean "... with its cover". Have you forgotten the history of the Philippines? He once have an intelligent president, who top the bar exam when he was in prison, and defended himself as laywer and accused. But what did he do with our country? He became corrupt the Philippine government. We even try a genius in economy, he even go to school with Bill Clinton in the states. But what did she do? Again corruption and cheating in the election. Give Noy a chance. Instead of criticizing his capability, in which we have no proof yet if he is incapable, why don't we try to put our faith in him. And by doing so, we are contributing to the wellness of this country.

This kind of reactions are just normal or common after the election. I did not vote any for President actually and I am not pro-Noynoy either. In my obesvation with what's happening to our country, whoever we put there for President, there will always be pro or anti groups or people. There will always be negative comments always even if the person is doing his or her job at their best. You just can't please everybody I guess. We all have good and bad points as a human. We have our own temper, who doesn't have anyway. Even our former presidents have and the best example is GMA, if you were able to follow her on the news. But that's fine I guess, because they are also humans like us. What's important is that they can do the job.

I did not voted for Noynoy last election. I was on the side of brother eddie villanueva. But this time, since noynoy has won the election, it is not a time anymore to question his credibility but it is a time to support him and back him up in prayers that God will use him and would give him a wisdom on how to lead our nation effectively.

Hahahahhaahahaha That's Funny Goddessies, No, I don't think you're Bias at all from the way you explain your discussion. but trouble is, you're a little bit too late. I have known P-noy here to be incompetent to lead since the day he decided not to participate in the debates anymore.not to mention the exposure that he's getting too much from the media and not to mention the media itself was biased to him. you got a bad feeling, we already know, he will disappoint a lot of people in the next six years
