I think there is fixed measurement of hairfall rate per day also i am sure no count it either. However, if you have hairfall problem, then it indicate your hair is not healthy. Besides that, severe hairfall problem can also indicate the symptom of internal diseases. Mental problem such as stress also can cause hairfall problem. So, beware of it. However, appropriate shampoo is usually enough to cure common hairfall problem.

The average is between 50 and a 100 hairs a day. If you're losing more than this, it's worth visiting the doctor, as there could be an underlying medical cause such as diabetes, a thyroid problem or Lupus. Often, hair loss is the first indication of a problem, so it needs to be investigated.

I don't know what is the normal hair fall rate. But i read an article that wearing a helmet increases hair fall.Using B.P medication increases hair fall.At times there is a genetic predisposition towards hair fall.I think combing hair regularly helps prevent hair fall.

I do have hair falls, too. You should be aware why you have such. The ordinary amount of hair fall a day is a hundred strands but if you got a handful of hair falls, then that is another story. Try to moisturize your hair using mayo. Do this after taking a bath and let mayo stay in your hair overnight. Use a shower cap to avoid mess. At least twice a week is good enough. Never use oil by the way when it is too humid. It'll make your hair coarser. Have your hair trimmed at least every 1 and a half month. Use a mild shampoo. Plus, conditioner doesn't help sometimes. All the best.

Hair falls at certain rate per day... but if its too much that it becomes noticeable to you then their must be something wrong.. This are some of the things which may contribute to hair fall: 1. Warm and humid weather - the loss of elasticity makes hair brittle 2. Low Protein diet - periods of undernourishment like low protein intake makes hair prone to hairfall 3. Inferior quality of shampoo - if moisturizing shampoo fails to come up with the warm humidity, expect more hairfall 4. receding hair lines - if blood relatives has pattern baldness, chance are you're on your way too. 5. Trichotillomania - compulsive attitude of plucking hair, unconscious mania of plucking one's hair 6. Lead poisoning - high lead content in food leads to hair loss
