Hi siliguri! If you find a way will you let me know? I have always had totally awful handwriting and I'm surprised they even passed me in school! My handwriting is totally illegible! I can't even read something after I've written it. I will write out my food list and print it and I go to the store and still will have no idea what I have written! It is very frustrating to me! I guess if you really want to improve your handwritting you could goodle handwritting and see what they have! I'm sure if you just force yourself to practice it will get better with time!

Hello siliguri. It is fully possible that you can make it to improve your handwriting so long as you practise writing and writing. My handwriting as a child was not as good, but as I have to do a lot of writing as a teacher, my handwriting has improved a lot. So there is no problem that you can make it, siliguri. Have a good day.

Yes you still can... How? Practice. Get loads of writing paper and start writing... :) There are I think courses that can help you with that also... :)

Handwriting is very easy to improve. I switch my writing style almost every year lol. It's just like learning how to play an instrument. You'll play it one way... then you can learn to play it a different way.. better or worse. Just keep working at it.

However much people say that 'handwriting doesn't matter these days' or 'people no longer judge you by your handwriting', it just isn't true! Even though we tend to type much more than we write by hand now, there are always times when it is quicker to write a short note or when we need to write more than just 'love Pete' in a card. Even 'Wish you were here' should, at least, look as though it were saying that rather than 'W~sh ~~ ~~ hu~~' or some such indecipherable scrawl. How polite is it to mumble a reply when you are asked a question? It is just as impolite to write to someone in a careless scrawl that they can't read without a lot of trouble (and nor could you, six months down the line). People who have 'good' handwriting are invariably admired and complimented when people see it. Somehow there is a feeling that they have worked long, and hard and carefully to get it to look that way and people are envious because they think that they don't have that much dedication. Actually, with very little effort but some practice, anyone who wants to can write legibly and even beautifully. You don't have to be a calligrapher or use special pens and inks. All you need to do is to understand the regularity of hand movements and the proper shapes of the letters. One of the most natural styles to use (if you write in roman characters) is the style that became popular in Italy during the Renaissance period. Nowadays it is called 'Italic Hand' or 'Italic Handwriting' and it is the most readable handwriting of all. Most of the classic computer fonts, when you choose the Italic forms of them, are based on that handwriting. It's beauty lies in the fact that all the letters are based on just a few simple, regular forms - long strokes, curves and triangles - and that the letters and the spaces between them are governed by entirely natural hand movements. Here is a page that will start you off in the right direction: http://www.paperpenalia.com/handwriting.html (you can explore the site further but it's really all about selling a particular kind of pen!). There are some excellent and sensible videos here: http://www.monkeysee.com/play/9112-how-to-improve-handwriting Practice what they teach every day for a week and you will begin to see an improvement in your normal handwriting. Practice for a month and others will begin to notice!

Hi friend, even I have very bad handwriting. It is true that the handwriting can be improved during childhood by writing again and again on good alphabets. At this age we may not like to do so, and hence chances of improving handwriting at this age may be really very difficult if not impossible.

you can still improve your handwriting by practicing it daily. Just like an athlete preparing for a tournament. Constantly hold a pen and paper and scribble every word you want or your name perhaps. Then immitate some handwriting that you admired most. Constant practice can make the difference. Believe me.

You really have to exert effort and alot time for that. You can practice it on your own or attend some classes for that if you really want to improve it. But what's your main reason of improving it aside from the reason that it is awful? Your success in anything doesn't depend on how your handwriting is anyway. But for self-satisfaction you can try to improve it.

I am sure it is possible, you just need to practice a lot, because this is the only way to do it (kind of like kids practice a lot when they are learning to write, if you know what I mean?). But I personally do not think that having good handwriting is very important, there are a lot of people, and especially a lot of boys, who have horrible handwriting, yet do perfectly fine, so I am sure you can toO!

Yes! You can do it at any age. There are hand writing classes which teaches to write with proper cuts and curves. But you should have a lot of patience for that. Initially your speed will be very slow as you have to concentrate on the structure. But in due time, you can gain speed.

Well don't forget that you're a human being and nothing is impossible for you.So if you really wish to improve your handwriting then you can certainly do it by putting in efforts.Undoubtedly, once you get older,it gets almost impossible to change your handwriting,so you can't improve a great bit.But in case it is really pathetic then there is a room for little improvement. You can start by praticing writing really slowly, that thing certainly helps you in gaining control over your handwriting and consequently it improves.Next thing you can do is avoid writing on plane papers which is not having lines of symmetry. It really disturbs your handwriting. There is also one more thing you can try, though its a bit embarrsing but its quite helpfull. You can practice on kids's writing pads. That thing will help you in getting a hold. I hope my response will be helpfull and your handwriting will surely improve. In case it happens,be kind enough to show me a pic of your handwriting both before and after improvement.

There is no point in going mad in an attempt to improve you handwriting.Once your done with studies, nobody bothers to judge you by your handwriting. Moreover nowadays most of the writing you have to do is typing, so handwriting doesnt really count.Still if you realy want to improve yor handwriting, then you need to follow same old ways kids follow, filling pages and pages of nicely written lines.
