Has Anyone Heard of Graphical Search Engines?

A few years ago I read an article somewhere that mentioned something about a search engine that displays search result links in the form of animated pictures and other graphical links.
I totally forgot what the site was and now I'm getting tired of using the same boring google.
Does anyone here know any site like what I explained above?

well ive seen a search engine that will use the front page/home page of the websites you are searching for. I think its a great idea but not the best because you need to have a good internet connection to enjoy it.
i dont know it this can be associated with graphical search engines though.
