Traditional as well as online colleges offer same kind of course work to their students. But there is certainly an advantage of online degrees as they offer accelerated educational programs to students. Therefore the time needed for pursuing distance learning is much less than its counter part. With an increasing number of students earning at an early age and a number of professionals feeling the need to pursue higher studies, online degree is certainly looked as an alternative of traditional form. The courses offered by online colleges makes use of emails, chartrooms & video conferencing to interact with students. All inquiries about the full length course are being solved through this electronic medium. This helps to save time of busy professionals

Online education is great, but I do admit that its not for everyone. It is a more relaxed environment for sure and you can fit the schooling around your own schedule rather easily. However, that is something that most people cannot really handle, as many adults still have not gotten the valuable concept of time management down to a system and thus they struggle.
I do think that if you can manage your time, online education is good. Plus, you can log into classes during your downtime at a job very easily as well and get some of the assigned work done that way. Not to mention that if you should wish to go at any time, then you can as well. I think that online education has served me well but its not for everyone. Some people still do better in the traditional class room environment but I personally find that there is just too much wasted time there, where everything can get done at a quicker pace that is right for me online.

They are definitely a modern day advantage for anyone that is looking to study at their own pace or at home, or just does not want to go to college to study. I myself have looked into a few of the courses that are available, and I am really interested in maybe applying to do one. At the moment though I am currently doing a Creative Writing Course, I think it is costing just over £200, it is quite expensive, but it is something that I can learn from, and improve my writing skills, and could possibly give me some kind of future writing career. I think it is nice that the courses also provide you with the relevant materials like text books etc. I know that this is included in the price we pay, for the course, but I don't mind because at least I know I have the right books. The prices can be quite high depending on the course that you are interested in pursuing, but most of the online education schemes let you pay in installment's. What could be better, an online education, learning the same as you would if you attended a college, but you can do it in your own time in your own home with no distractions, and if you are somebody who is also working, you can fit in in with your work life! I love these sites, I think they are brilliant, and gives many people the chance to get a good job in this world.

I have been an online student for the past year at American InterContinental University, better known as AIU and i LOVE IT!!!! This is my first online college, but I felt as if the university and community college scene was getting to be too crazy for me. I finished my AABA (Associate's in Business Administration Information Systems) in approximately a year. Compared to the community college that I was attending, same major, I wouldn't have graduated until 2013, which is ridiculous. Even though the program costs are higher, the accelerated program lasting about five weeks for each class, is a breath of fresh air. I am currently pursuing my BIT (Bachelor's in Internet Security) and I will graduate next July!!!!! I recommend anyone attend college online if they have busy lives or need to work instead of just attending school full time and anyone that wants to better themselves!!!!
