We are in our last days. Everything that is said to come to pass in the book Revelation will come to pass. However, God did not make this world predictable for any man here, so trying to figure why, when or how is just a waste of time. All He said... is be ready.

It's also funny that you asked this today because my friends and I were having a detailed discussion a few weeks ago. And I thought I had predicted the end of the world. I felt that if the oil spill wasn't stopped and that the ocean was filled up with gunkiness, it would be soon scorched by the sun because of the constant beaming and eventually turn into the lake of fire that will destroy this world. I cried and everything... until my grandmom said that God would not make it so that the end of world could be predicted that easily. I rested assure, now I just wait.

hmm that's very interesting. I never knew that. I guess you learn something new everyday, right? I will definitely keep tabs on that.

Hi purple rose: I was baptized when I was one year old and I have always attended to my church. I beleive in God's words and I beleive on the things I do. I'm also trying to bring people to His Kingdom with my daily actions and I pray every day because I know I could be better if I follow him. I want to perfectionate my soul. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I've always been ready to face our creator. It's just something that I've always been ready for. A life where there is no worries like here on earth is just an amazing thought to me. My earth father past away when I was 11 and the only thing that I do get sad over by leaving this earth is the people that will miss me. But I know they will look at it the way I do...Be happy that I am going to a place that is a whole lot safer than this world and am now protecting you. I've always believed that you should cry and grieve at the time needed to but after that always think of the happiness of them being safe.
As far as you not being baptized...our creators lost children of the world that are beaten and was never taught the words of the bible were/are not baptized but our creator holds them dear as well and invites them to live with him. Don't forget the bible is a guideline that God wants us to follow in order to hear him. You can read the bible from begining to end every year at the same time and it will be different then the year before...as you grow with God, he changes the meaning of the scripture for you to go in the direction he wants you to follow.

Hi jlydsnr: I think it's good that you have no fears of dying, because this is just a spiritual path we have to take for our own perfection as souls. In my case I know that at some moment I'll die so i'll have to face God and present him the things I have dine with my life, my actions. My only fear is that I recognize my weakness as a human being and that I commit mistakes as part of my learning process. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I have been born again since the 1997 and I can testify that its a great thing to be Born again John 3: 3-6 I have never regretted.
I know the only way you can be Ready to Meet your Creator is when you come to Him and Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. As of me I am ready for my Lord when He comes.

Hi lesfery: In some periods of the history people think that the final times have arrived but we don't know when will it be, only God knows it. But if the earth would end tomorrow, I think I won't be enough prepared to face God. i won't be arrogant, I know I commit mistakes even if I try my best to not hurt anybody, even if my intentions are good I sometimes take the bad decitions or say the wrong words, etc. And this makes me think that I'm not totally prepared so i simply try to be better and I hope God that is love and justice would judge me with compassion. Thanks for starting this discussion. Have a nice day.

This is the 21st century. Educated people know that earthquakes and floods are NOT caused by deities.

HI lesfery, i too am a christian involved in a church, i have been in your shoes before and think about this. You really do not know when or how the world will end. Nobody does. Do not just believe what the media is saying, things happen, and they just justify what had happened to what they say is the prophecy related to that event. But take this to heart, if you will do something today, that is to accept and be baptized. You will lose nothing by being baptized, but if the end is truly just around the corner, the truth is that those who haven't accepted Him yet and haven't been baptized loses everything. Bless you.
