This is the world cup season and I guess all soccer fans are excited about it including myself. To be honest, nobody knows who will win it but I feel it's going to be Argentina. They played the best football so far. However, I feel that even before the tournament began, everything has been decided, the winner, the runner-up, the losers, the scorelines, etc. During this season, bettings are on the rise. Bookies are superbly busy. In your opinion, do you think all the matches are fixed in South Africa? After all, football is no longer a full sport anymore, it's half sport half business.

I don't think they are fixed, yes , the referees might make mistakes which benefit the powerhouses, this always happens, but fixed like you say with the outcome already set beforehand I don't think it's that bad, at least I hope it isn't.

Likewise, I think it is due more to the mistakes by the referees. However something come to my mind, in the 2002 version of the World Cup, there are simply too many mistakes from different referees that led South Korea to the semi-finals that there is suspicions of foul play. Italy and Spain were the two victims.

What is it with people always thinking about match fixing while watching sports. I simply do not care. I watch sports for the adrenalin pumping action. This world cup has provided it's fair share of it and I have enjoyed watching it. Let those who want to sully the image of the game worry about match fixing.
Cheers!
