How To Train A Ferret

I have 2 ferrets thier name are sofie and baby hey i love them so much and they are so cute and cuddly. I play them everyday,play tag of war and hide and seek but one thing i do not like is that they do not defecate in thier litter box.If i will let them out of my gush i just find feces at the corner of the house. Wherever they want to go and defecate they will and one thing i noticed is that they love to poop at the corner of the house. If only i can train them by myself on how that my ferret will use thier litter box.
