Can a woman still look pretty without make-up?

Do guys find women who wear make-up more attractive than those who don't?
My mom always tells me that I should wear at least some lipstick and powder. but for me wearing make up is expensive and troublesome so I only apply it during important ocassions.

Of course a woman can still look good without make up, definitely! What make up is supposed to do in the first place is to enhance your natural features and beauty, not to cover tons of stuff up! I personally think that the prettiest make up looks are the most natural looking ones too!

Being someone who rarely ever bothers with make-up it's great to read your comments lol - in fact when my sister got married last year, I had to rush to the supermarket on the day of the wedding because I had forgotten to take my lipstick, mascara and eyeliner, which are the only make-up I ever use and then only if going somewhere very special. For regular outings I usually prefer just to stay totally natural, much better for the skin.
I have very light eyelashes though so I think a little touch of mascara helps to define my eyes a bit but if I wear it too often it makes my eyes sore so that's why I stopped years ago and now I have to make a conscious effort to remember when I should put some on :)

Every womaan has a natural beauty. She just has to find her own way to bring it out. Maany women feel naked and unattractive unless they are wearing makeup. You don't need make up to still look pretty. It's how you feel inside that counts.

I think a woman can look pretty with or without make up. She could be wearing make up but in a wrong way, thus, it could look bad. She could also be not wearing make up but she does not take care of her skin and look untidy, so it could also look bad. I think it boils down to how she carries herself, really.

I think too much make-up using is probably harmful to your skin and health.More or less,there is some chemical component in it,right? I agree with your opionion that make up every day is something seriously troublesome for me,too.However, I insist my skin-care twice a day,because I perfer beauty from within my internal body instead of too much addition.But in some important ocassions,I will make up to show my emphasis and respect. :)

Not necessary. A woman can look neat without makeup too. But she should dress up neat and should have combed her hair to a normal hair style. Beauty is how we express or display ourselves to others. But a little makeup is essential when you have to attend some functions.

Women look pretty only without make-up. Natural look is always attractive, Make-up on women looks good only on television or photos. I never wear make-up, our climate is so sultry most of time that we have to wash the face often.

There are some lucky women who really never have to put a make-up
to make themselves pretty. But I believe that to be more attractive,
you need at least a lipstick and a powder. Those two are easier to apply
and doesn't need to be expensive. As for me, I use only a baby powder on my face and a cheap brand of lipstick. I put only a better set of make-up on occasions.

Most guys find it unattractive when women wear too much makeup. I honestly don't think it matters except for the initial attraction. I think makeup is more eye catching but all in all I don't think it matters as much as your mom thinks it does.

i've heard so much about guys complaining about girls having to wear so much make-up. i think it's only because it hides the real beauty of the woman. but then, if the make-up's lightly applied, i believe that guys would also appreciate that women make an effort to be presentable. it means they want to be appreciated for taking care of themselves.

I think makeup is fabulous and can't see why any girl would hate wearing it. it covers up blotchy skin, acne, and other flaws like for me dark circles. I think it makes the woman appear much more feminine. I think women without makeup just look childish in a way, not to sound disrespectful but makeup makes a woman look more grown up and in a way more sophisticated.

Makeup is not only for making yourself attractive but it is also a protection for your skin from skin pollutants and the sun's UV rays.
It is an advantage if a woman knows how to wear makeup properly, because it enhances a woman's natural beauty.For your concern that makeup is expensive, well not really, because there are inexpensive brands with very good qualities. It is not troublesome either when you learn the proper application.

well i really dont like girls who wear heavy makeup. I have this one friend that has always have an heavy makeup she really started to look like a witch or a clown.

My husband and my brother in law thinks that we look prettier without make up but I strongly disagree. I think make up adds something more to the features of your face. I like putting on make up especially when I go to church. Normal days and if I am only going to my workplace, I just put on some face powder and lip gloss and I'm good to go.

yes of course. My I haven't seen my ex-gf wear any make-up yet she's very attracted, in fact I'm still attracted to her :D.
My current gf also rarely wears make-up when she's not going to work, and when she does, she does it very lightly.

You would know that a woman is really pretty if she looks pretty or beautiful even without make-up. Yeah, a woman can look pretty without a make-up, the secret? a good skin. But you would look best if you pair up that flawless skin with a good personality. Tidying up of the hair should also not be forgotten.
