Well recently I am blog down by frustration that I need something to cheer me up and I thought of what would make me happy.
I thought I would like to go travelling. and these are the places I would like to visit at least once in my life
1. Great wall of China, being Chinese I think I would like to bring my daughter to visit the great wall.
2. Goodison, Liverpool England - I support everton as a club, and I would like to visit the club
3. Japan - land of cheery blossom, I would love to see it in my life.
So what are the top few places you like to visit.

Hi iwrite
My childhood dream is to vist Singapore and Japan but it is yet to be fulfilled. In India itself i dreamt of visiting Tajmahal, and kashmir but so far no chance of seeing them either. Hope one day my dreams will become true.

First of all, beforme making my list, let me explain I'm an architect, so you'll understand my choices,
1. Great wall of China, most definitely.
2. Macchu Picchu, Peru.
3. The pyramids. both mexican and egyptian.
4. Iguazu falls (again, because last time I was only 5 years old)
and I didn't mention any cities because it's obvious... NY, Tokyo, Madrid, Venice, Berlin, Prague, Budapest...

I don't know if I'll be able to visit all the wonders of the world, but I'm sure going to try!
In a few days I'm going to Bolivia and Peru, to see the salt lakes, Macchu Picchu, and Nazca lines, among other things.
So I guess soon I'll have to take #2 off my list and get a new place to visit, lol

Yes, there are several places I would like to visit:
1. Ireland. WOuld love to see it all. England, Scotland, The Isle of Mann.
2. Back east. So much to see. New England in the Autumn time. Would be nice.
3. One big dream of mine is to go to New Orleans, Louisianna again. I was there once but it was all locked up and I didn't get to see much. I would love to take the train there. Stay afew days. Maybe go on a river boat and site see ofcourse. Then I want to go to see the Grand Hotel on an island of the coast of Michigan. THis is where Somewhere In Time was filmed. One of my favorite movies. It is lovely there. They have an annual party for the lovers of the movies and sometimes the one remaining star is a guest.
4. Would love to get back to the ocean again. Northern California you can be in the redwoods and they go down to the ocean. It is beautiful there.

The 1st place I would like to visit is Japan, I will like to have sushi there and try all their food there but to travel to Japan is very expensive. The 2nd place I would like to visit is Europe, I will travel all over the country of Europe. And the 3rd one will be Taiwan, I like to taste all the food that I can find in Taiwan. I saw those foods from Taiwan in TV food channel.

yspmyl,
well it is not that expensive accounting to the travel guide, of course if you want to live in the city it would, but if you go to some of the rural areas when they still have the pre world war buildings, it thought those were nice and I cannot wait to got there.
as for taiwan, I find the people very nice, I been shopping there, the experience is great.

I should very much like to see Singapore and Hong Kong, Australia, Bali and places in Europe like Italy, Northern Spain, Prague, hmm so many places I would love to visit - this could grow into a very long list :)
I would also like to see more of America, we went to Atlanta for a holiday and visited some of the beautiful old plantation houses and many of the wonderful attractions they have there and I would like to explore Montana, San Francisco and some other areas of the US and Canada as well.
It does cheer you to think of the places you would like to visit doesn't it? Especially when you can call to mind images you have seen and picture yourself exploring those places for real.

iwrite,
As for me, I would really like to go to Mongolia and retrace the history of the the Xiongnu, which I am a descendant of.
I don't suppose I could really do it until I've retired as the route taken by my ancestors were long and arduous. I can expect this to be as thrilling as Silk Road as they were basically nomads and the family tree has spanned all the way to eastern Europe. It will be a getting to know my roots here.

i am not hoping to visit the foreign lands for the reason, i have no such money to spend for it. i don't want to talk about beautiful places abroad and i only keep it to myself, only in my dreams. well, if you consider traveling abroad, why not include the Philippines? we have lots of great places to see, like Baguio City, Cebu, Bohol to name some.

neildc,
you are lucky to have a beautiful country, and you can travel within without incurring much cost. I am not so lucky as I am in Singapore. However if I have time I would visit Philippines as I said this are the top places to go but not the only ones.

I am from the USA and have always wanted to go to Australia, the down under !
other than that, just someplace to be quiet and with no interruptions.
I too have thought of Japan. It seems quite nice there as far as pictures go.
I also want to find a place where there are water falls and butterflies and peace and happiness .....
I'll find the perfect place someday....

You know, life takes up our time, working, etc. when we are young but have the time to dream but not the money.
When we get older, as I am now, we have the time, no money and our bodies don't cooperate!
Still........oh with a heavy sigh, I want sooo badly to visit places I 've never seen other than on TV or in a book.
I have a sick husband and I do sit and dream a lot...........
I have a blog started about hiding from a storm and the loneliness of the nite.
I will share with it you later.
Keep on dreaming, time is our only enemy.
hugs, quita

unlike singapore which is so small, I think Philippines would have lots of places to explore, if I would to go there, I would need many days, weeks or even year to cover just a little bit of the country. could you be my guide if I get there, i might get lost.

I have a lot of dream places, here are some:
1. I'd like to spend some weeks in Switzerland. It's my favorite country because of its mountains, lakes and such places. I visited it two times and I want to go back...
2. Canada. The reasons are the same as I mentioned at Switzerland.
3. Spain or Portugal, because of the sea and the historical places, and the nightlife.
4. Australia and New Zealand, because they are so far from here and there's a different lifestyle there... I want to discover it.

I like visiting places in the United Kingdom, I haven't really been to many places but I love going to Skegness and the surrounding areas, as everywhere is walkable and great public transport. I would like to go to Blackpool and Cornwall sometime, I think my children would love this.
In the future I would like to go the states and canada.

I would like to visit the (1)Great Wall of China too. It's one of the places that I long to see. Now we are required to have a Visa to visit Beijing unlike before. I would like to go to (2) London too, to see the Big Ben and to see a real castle. (3) Maldives is a must see on my list, they say that this place will no longer be around in ten years so hopefully I could be there before that time arrives (but hopefully that won't happen).

I live in the US, and I would love to travel. My greatest wish is to go to Australia. I've done some reaearch on it, and there is really a lot to see and do there, and I would be able to meet a couple online friends there.
However, since going to Australia is not likely to happen, I would settle for Las Vegas. I would love to see some of the shows and the strip and all the theme hotels. It would be a lot of fun for me.

I was in Australia last year and it was great, it was just a shame that the time spend there was too short. My daughter totally enjoy it.
I think the theme hotel in veges would be so cool.
HelloMickey
yes I think the pace there is not as fast as in Singapore, I would love to go there when I retire, and it seem like a nice place to be.

Hello lacieice
Australia is one of my most want-to-travel country, my parents went there when I was a child and they always told me Australia is really a good country to stay. I don't know, maybe I heard them telling me Australia is good then I would really want to go and visit to. I have relatives living there, so it is a supportive reason for me to travel there if I go there with my hubby. By the way, I still plan to go some place with my hubby as our honeymoon, we postpone our honeymoon and hope we can have enough money to enjoy it. Hope that I would go to some places are not so cold, Australia is just so prefect to me. ^^
