Charice has lots of HATERS.

The latest talk in tinseltown is probably how successful Charice's career is. But I want to share something with you guys. I stumbled upon a facebook page that has the title of "i hate CHARICE PEMPENCO". But not all of her haters are a member on that page. She has lots of FILIPINO haters that keeps on comparing the songs she make with those so-called kpop songs. What really irks me though is she's far by MORE popular than them and filipinos keeps on supporting and rooting for those korean artists. IMO, We filipinos shouldn't do that. I keep on seeing fellow filipinos who degrade our very own artists. She deserves the success she has right now and may we continue to support her throughout her career.

I hope the haters would give her a chance. I used to not like her way back in Little Big Star because I was rooting for Sam Concepcion then. I guess it was because she was more of like the typical singer and belter who sings all those songs with high notes which weren't exactly my type. But when she sang Pyramid, an R&B song and a big break from all the other songs she used to sing, I noticed that she indeed has talent and has great vocals. I must admit I'm quite excited to see her in Glee and see how she would make Rachel "contemplate murder". Go Charice! I hope you make good in Glee. :)

I expected that. After all we Filipinos are known for our crab mentality. And Charice can't really please everybody. But as for me I'm really proud that we have someone like Charice. She's really popular right now. I just hope that we Filipinos just support her and please let's not compare her with anybody. Charice is Charice. She should not be compared to anyone.
