mm great question. i like the desktops. i can't imagine why i would need to take my pc anywhere with me. if i bought a netbook, i'd be worried about it getting nicked all the time.

my answer is that it is depends. when i am at home, actually desktop is my favorite, because desktop has better function comparing to laptop. but if i am outside, laptop is the best choice for me, it is portable and helpful.

For me, it depends on the uses and the circumstances. I like desktop at the house coz one advantage of desktop is that if something happen to your hard drive or something to your computer you can replace the parts if you want coz it is not built in.Where as for the notebook you cannot coz it is built in inside in your notebook. But it has advantage also coz you can bring it with anywhere you want to go lol.

Hi, I prefer you by a new notebook. With the rapid growth of pc users and rapid development on hardware, now you can get a relatively cheap notebook. You will get a good Price/Performance on that. Besides, you will save your electricity. And last but not the least, with notebook you can use it everywhere.

if you want productivity then go for desktop since there will be an option for you to choose the biggest monitor to see the whole page better, keyboard of course is easy to handle with mouse. while notebook on the other hand is more convenient as you can use and carry it anywhere and anytime you want but the life expectancy is not that good compare to desktop, desktop will last long than laptop. if theres a problem with your laptop nor damaged it will be expensive for you to fix it thats why other will rather want to buy new one than fix it, while desktop, if only the monitor have problem then you can just simply replace the monitor while the hard disk, theres too many parts of it that you can only buy for cheaper price since it will not affect the whole unit including the monitor nor the keyboard.

I much prefer a notebook type of computer. They are convenient and portable. With desktop, you are stuck in a stationary place. Sometimes you just need to be able to change your scenery.

Hi, I still prefer a desktop computer. Whenever it gives me any trouble I just repair it myself. Most of the time just replacing the defective parts helps. I first identify the device that is damaged. Then I see if its within the warranted period. If it is then I go to the vendor and ask for a replacement. If the warranty is already over, then I plan on buying a new one. After I get the replacement, I take out the faulty part and attach the new one myself. I have changed stuffs so many times that its not a big deal anymore. But in case of a notebook or a laptop I can't do that. Most of the times your warranty gets violated once you open up the chassis. You have to send it to technician even if there is a minor problem. This is just because you don't want to unscrew the computer. I really don't like that. It takes away your liberty. I want to repair my stuffs myself. Thanks. God bless you

desktop is suitable for long work on computers while laptops or notebooks are suitable if you need computing facility while on move. Both of them have their nitch area and their utility. I prefer desktop for comfort it offers.

It depends on what you do with computers. If you are person who moves always, then laptops or notebooks are appropriate for you. But if your work is just one place and you don't travel a lot, then desktop would be best since it is more durable.
