Island or your own place of stay?

If I find myself wake up in an Island all alone first thing I had to make sure my survival. I must seek fresh water I will need because salt water can not be consume without processing it first. Second find a safe place to build my house and I had to learn to provide myself with food. The rest I will have fun by swimming, fishing and missed someone to talk too .

Why don't I make that island a place of my own? It would be so much better being in paradise. I'm being very imaginative here so here it is. I'd surely want a beautiful house near the beach where I can coast the white sands and blue waters so that I can rest my head and just enjoy the scenery. The end. :)
