I missed this Movie on its cinema release, and bought the DVD seeing it on the budget rack to watch it..I don't want to spoil it for those who might not have seen it but might yet want to! I just wanted to ask what others thought of the Movie, did it draw you in to the story, and how sympathetic were you to the Main Character,Sam Bell?

I like it. It really reminds me of 2001: A Space Odyssey but I won't take it as a bad thing. I was expecting aliens will appear halfway through the movie and I was damn glad they didn't. Sam Rockwell was great. It has to be hard to play two main roles in the movie without getting boring or annoying
There will be 2 more "sequiels". Totally different stories but set in the same fictional universe of the moon. Sam will have a little cameo in the next one. Sounds pretty weird but I think it'll end up good.

Some SciFi movies and Series go with the "Are We Alone?" thing and play around with that.."Moon" thankfully didn't need to go there...

I love this movie, and I liked how Sam Rockwell played with himself, if you catch my drift. It didn't feel cheesy.
The story was great, and Kevin Spacey's voice was excellent.
I liked GERTY a lot for the way he viewed his job, both defies some commands and follows others, which is quite a dilemma for a robot character.

Which Sam should I have the most sympathy for?
I thought it was a decent movie. I don't like how it ended, though. I wanted to see a return to Earth and all that. But I guess it was a low-budget flick and they couldn't afford but 1 actor and a couple of extras.
It was certainly a bit different without being so far out there that you have to be mentally impaired to watch it. So that's always a plus.

"Moon" Isn't the first Movie, and won't be the last one either to be leaving you wanting a bit more at the conclusion..though the soundbites at the end do let you know how things went!

I finally got to see it
I had to shop around for it as my local place did not have it in stock but I got it cheap. The acting was great and you are right with the look of the movie. I liked that it was not all cgi and used a lot of miniatures. Good little story and very refreshing to see something a little bit different than the usual Hollywood affair.

That movie sucked. I've also seen it a few days before Moon and while I was watching Moon I was thinking to myself "please don't turn into Pandorum".

SciFi is definitely a wide enough Genre to have something to appeal to different tastes-it can make for interesting discussions!

I haven't seen it yet but I love the trailer, that's why i put it in my list of must see movies. With the reviews I've read this is definitely a must see movie. People would love to see intense story twist and I'm one of it.

Thanks for your first Comment here, and Welcome to Mylot! It's definitely a thought provoking Movie..I couldn't help but compare it to the SciFi Classic,"2001-a Space Odyssey",when the Movie opened with that "One Guy alone with an Intelligent Computer" premise..
