i don't get it , Getty Images ??

hi there, does anybody here familiar with getty images..?? i like photography and had taken it serious recently, i had shot some photos, and proud enough of my shots.. :) i'd like to sell those photos, some friends told me about getty images.. i post my photos in flickr and found out about the getty images tools there, but still i don't really understand the terms.. does anybody here have the experiences about licensing photos etc ? please kindly share with me here.. :) my main problem might be the licensing process, and the contract later.. flickr said that once i request the license, all my photos in my account will be in getty images contract.. please help me out people, thanks in advance ! :D
