Is it really important in today's world to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend...?

Now that is really bother me now. Is it necessary for us to have a boyfriend or girlfriend? I'm 23 and single right now, my friend keep asking me why I still haven't get a girlfriend..and start wondering am I gay? OMG..I don't think we really need a girlfriend or boyfriend to make our life complete. I still have my friends and family with me and I'm really glad to have them with me. Besides getting a girlfriend I think I still have lots of other stuff to do.

It isn't necessary to have a boyfriend or girlfriend. The world won't crumble around you. It is nice to have a special someone to share things with. You can live your life alone, but the choice is yours to make.

i dont think it is necessary....i am 19 and still single....i dont want any girlfriend because i am happy with my life and living....and i think MOST of them wants relationship thats why they want boyfriend or girlfriend..... btw i am also from india where are you from???
