ahhh goodbye is just a saddest thing to hear. parting ways gives the feeling of longing and inevitably, the time to say it usually comes.when it happens and that we have to say this words and, saying it in a different phrase would just have the same impact. Anyhow, its more pleasing to the ears when we say "see you" and not "goodbye".

Hi jhudy: Yes, there's something sad on the air when you have to say goodbye, specially when you know that you won't see this person for a long time so I prefer to say see you just as you do because it makes clear that this conversation haven't ended and that you want to keep in contact with this person. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO

Great you find yours. It's just like a prayer, a promise made as I say "see you!"

HI tomi tomi: In some cases I also add "I love you" before leaving a person. I think that is better to make a person know tha you think he/she is important, now that you have him/ her because you never know when will be the last time you ever see a friend or a relative. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO

Hi lesfery: I agree with you. It's not very comfortable to say goodbye; it's a sad word when you have to tell it to a person you love or you like and makes you happy to be with him/ her. I usually say in those cases "see you later" or "see you tomorrow" instead of goodbye. Thanks for sharing with us your feelings. Have a nice day. ALVARO
