Whenever I feel stressed I keep myself busy with my favorite hobbies and watch some comedy show and read some jokes.
Always try to think positively and spend time with cheerful and helpful friends and relatives.
Outdoor activities are very good to avoid and relieve stress.
Meditation helps to overcome the anxiety. Spend about 30 minutes daily with yourself only, focusing on your breath.
Bananas are very good for relieving stress and anxiety as they are rich in potassium, vitamin B6, riboflavin, and vitamin C and they lower the levels of stress hormones.

I rant and rant here in my lot whenever I am stressed out about certain issues. Sometimes I go for a massage. A lot of times I talk to God.

Stress is a mental disease and can be effectively handled by maintaining a healthy and stable mind. It depends on how one handle one's problems and circumstances that affects his/her mind. On my part, I accept all kinds of situations with positive spirit and strong faith on God. I take myself the full responsibility of all situations I face, without blaming anyone. Somehow, I get over the crisis and find the solution in a natural way. Thanks.

There are actually two ways in which I handle stress... either I deal with it and vent it out or I try to pretend that the situation is not actually stressful but rather manageable- simply putting out of your mind.
Deep breaths before you act on a stressfuly situation have even been found out to scientifically ease out stress. But the breathing should be abdominal.
