Happiness don't always come easily into our lives. Many of us have been conditioned to believe that the proper response to unmet expectations is one of sadness, anger, guilt, or fear. To make joy a fixture in our life, we must first accept that it is within our power to choose happiness over unhappiness every single day. Then, each time we discover some new source of happiness, the notion that the world is a happy place will find its way more deeply into our heart. Starting today, lets find something to be happy about everyday.

Joy has to come from within. It is not something we can go after or win. Joy is found in the most unexpected places and ways. When we receive it, our hearts are enlightened. Isn't that why it is called joy?

Dear Pose123,
We have a power to choose whether we need to choose joy or else.
Every person will face up and down in our life but it's only temporary.
If we choose joy and happiness, everythings will be fine and we will be more motivated to do everythings.
I choose joy and happiness in my life.Every single time I cherish myself with
fun and enjoy activity.
All my time fulfill with joy and happiness with my beloved friends and family.
Regards,
fadyhalim

I start each day with love and joy awakening in each cell in my body. I visualize this as a flower opening to the white light of positive energy. I close each day with the same visualization of each cell and then I send this energy out into the world to awakened as needed. This may sound strange but it works for me. I also thank this power for all things in my day. After 3 years of doing this it only takes me seconds to become aware of this energy in my body and thoughout the world.
You will notice that this is what I do to stay aware. I also use the power of prayer to help direct my life toward my goals. But that is different from this morning and night rite.

Hi Pose: I chose to be a happy man and that's what I have done. I agree with you. This is simply a personal decition. We have the power to decide if we want to see the positive or the negative part of something. Of course every person have their own difficulties and strenght problems to pass through. But I think that we have the strenght to survive these bad situations. As long as we accept this power we will be more responsible of our actions and we will be obviously more happy. Thanks for starting this discussion. Have a nice day.

Hi starsailover, Thank you for that comment and we of course agree. I'm pleased that you have chosen happiness over misery, fear and anger. These forces are so destructive and cause so much harm.People who choose happiness are just great to be around. Blessings.

Happiness is not being looked for, it's being felt in the presence of God. God will always give us joy, and keep it in our hearts, He will always give us reasons to be happy. Happiness is also found in the way we handle every situations and problems in our lives.

Hi dominiquilita, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I feel it depends on how we look at God. No outside force can help us, we must realize that God is within us. When we know and feel that power within us, nothing can defeat us or take away our joy. Again, God is not separate from us but one with us. Blessings.

Hello there! I want to follow as what you have said and do it but then if reality strikes in and all the worries that it brings I guess it's a bit easier said than done. We can try and do it but not all the time otherwise it will somehow show as somewhat like we are in denial of what's really going on or we are already apathetic, cannot feel anything real anymore. Sorry to disagree with you but that's how I view it.
