hi reameshchow I am a diabetic so I have to have my eyes checked each year and am waiting for a referral for that. If you wear glasses always
'wear them to save eye strain also take some Lutin as its good for healthy eyes and do take a multivitamin each day. rest your eyes when at the computer by looking off across the room occasionally and also blink occasionally to moisten your eyes. If you ride a bicycle or motor cycle always wear your helmut. a fall may result in a detached retina unless you protect your head.

I think protecting the eyes is extremely important. I wear sunglasses outside all the time because I have particularly sensitive eyes due to the fact that many years ago, when I was around eighteen years old I used a sun lamp in the hope of getting a sun tan. I got myself under that lamp and being 18 and stupid I decided not to wear the protective eye covers so that night, while out with my boyfriend I lost my sight temporarily and it frightened us so much he took me to the emergency department where they put drops in my eyes and bandaged them up; I had to wear dark glasses for days until my eyes got better and yes I did some considerable damage to my eyesight! And as far as the sun lamp goes, I never did get a tan, all I got was sore eyes and a bad burn on my leg! Not recommended...

Hi ramesh.
MY suggestion is when we are sitting in front of computer,
we have to take one brake for every half an hour.
It gives some relaxation to our eyes..

im not totally sure how to do that. in spite of years of reading in halph dark though so my husband at the time could sleep, i seem to have pretty good eyes still. i just hope it goes on that way, cause for some reason when i got glasses, it made me dizzy to wear themso just hope you get some good answers here.

Proper nutrition falls under the same category for eye health protection. Wearing sunglasses at all times the sun is in full blaze and then there is the yearly eye exam.
Whether a person wears corrective lenses or not. Or even if the person is in good health. We do a lot of wear on our retinas and are not fully aware. As we get older the rough wear and stress causes failure.
Hope this helps.
