Reading Rainbow

Just did a response on reading books and remembered that it was "Reading Rainbow" that got me reading. I am gonna have to youtube that one later. good 'ol lamar, gonna have to see what he is doing now too? Did any of you guys whatch that show? I guess it was a bummer too back in the 80's. you knew after that your saturday cartoons were shot.

well it was on during the 90s too but oddly, my kids never go into that show but they loved arthur (which was either right before or right after reading rainbow on our local pbs station.)

yeah, I think I remember it being on in the 90's too. but then again we had cartoon network, nickeloden and the best of all things in the early 90's.... Disney afternoon. Guess that's why I didn't really watch it in the 90's.

I used to love watching Reading Rainbow. Of course, I loved reading before I discovered the show. I used to watch it almost every afternoon when I was in grade school.
