Would you meet up somebody from facebook?

What advice would you give to my friend, who she had been friend with this guy for 2 years on facebook. Right now, they are finally make an agreement to meet each other at some public place, I don't know where. I would advice her not to meet him, because it is kind of scary, while others say that might be exciting. I don't know. I just won't advice her to meet him. Anyway, would you do that?

well, no I would not . Meeting a stranger from facebook is really dangerous and if the other party turns out to be a bad guy , it'll be disasterous , especially if you're a girl .
Maybe it's just me but i'll definitely not meet up a stranger from facebook unless i'm really really close with him/her .

For me its a big NO because even if a person become friend only in facebook it doesn't count and if they are completely strangers that would really not a good Idea
But if they have common friends in real life then its ok as long as they will meet up with their common friend but for totally strangers my suggestion is NO NO.
well its only my suggestion and point of view it is your friend decision if ever your friend insist then the best thing you'll do is bring your other friends and meet up with the guy don't ever let your friend go alone.
And if the guy insist of bringing other people and only want to meet up alone then give your friend a warning that is really one bad sign for people who want's to meet.

I think you should advice your friend not to meet that guy. You don't know well the guy she will meet. There's a lot of incident that some girls who meet with strange guy have a bad experience. Hope it will not happen to her. Try to go with her if she is willing to meet this guy.
