Have you started your Christmas shopping???

We are almost halfway through the year and I've started thinking of Christmas. When do you start planning and shopping for Christmas?
I wish I could say that I'm an early shopper for Christmas, but I'm really not anymore. I used to be, but the holidays just don't seem to have the same excitement that they used to. I guess because my girls don't believe in Santa anymore. Now I can fully understand why my dad tried to talk my mom into having another baby once my brother and I were grown up and stopped believing.
Another reason, I don't get excited like I use to is because my mom is no longer here. It's not the same without her.
I have been picking up stocking stuffers for the girls but with them being 13 and 9, I hate to buy anything too early because there are constantly new things coming out. So I have been putting money aside for the fall.

I make homemade gifts and started as early as August. If I was to wait until the last minute things would never get done. My husband hates the fact that I start so early becuase he thinks I should wait until the day after Thanksgiving. I do not listen to Christmas Music until the day after Thanksgiving. This year I will be launching an online store to sell some of my crafts and I am hoping to do so by the middle of August. I cannot believe we are more than half way through the year.

No,haven't started yet.I think it's way way too early plus christmas shopping is part of the christmas spirit for me:)

its more cheaper if you buy item during november or december due to their holiday sale and theres too many of them even if theres a lot of people but at least you can still buy cheaper. right now the price is still normal price not even sale besides come by december the item already looks old and doesnt look brand new so the people who received it might think its an old gift or a recycle gift

I usually buy gifts if there are special promotions regardless of the season and just keep them in a big container. As long as these have no expiry dates. And when special occasions come, I just open my storage box and pick the one most probably will suit the receiver. If there's just not enough things to give away, that's the time I'll take time to go shopping I guess.
