Hello,
I love playing with my PlayStation 2 console. However, I have a game; GTA: San Andreas game that doesn't work anymore. I don't know why, and when I look under the CD, I see a big scratch and I wonder where the scratch comes from? Is it possible to repair the CD ?
Each time I play, the game freezes under 2 minutes and I must restart the console. This problem occurred a couple months ago and I haven't been able to play with the game. I would love to play again and finish the missions. I don't feel like buying a new CD.
I am wondering, is there a way to clean or fix the CD game ? If so, what can I do?
Thank you for any advices on this topic.

Is your ps2 chipped ?
If you have a mod chip in your ps2 , you can put the DVD game in your pc and make a copy of it and then you can play it on the ps2 .It only works if you have a mod chip .

You can ake the PS2 game to a game shop. They will run the disc through a machine to buff the game. This usually costs £3 - £4 here in the UK.
An other method to try is the toothpaste one.
Dampen the disc, squirt a small amount of toothpaste on the babywipe.
Clean the disc with this wipe from the inside to the out, all the way around the PS2 game.
Then with cold water rinse the toothpaste off the disc by holding it under a small water stream while using another to rinse away the toothpaste.
Let the disc air dry for about two hours.
Good Luck!!
