In a good way?
My son's father and I rarely talk, but we have spoken a few times in the past week. I was having car problems yesterday and he actually came by today, looked at my car, figured out what was wrong with it, fixed it and even paid for the part. All before he went into work tonight.
This is the first time I have seen him in about 8 months, I have only talked to him 3 times in that time, and today he actually does something nice.

I was in law enforcement for two years. I have also working in other areas of public service in the past, and I have been in the restaurant business for many years now as well...nothing surprises me anymore LOL

That's so awesome!
There are a few times I'm surprised by someone's actions.. usually my father in law. He's been trying really hard to be nice lately, which isn't like him. It was very surprising that he offered to let us move in, even if we chose not to.
It's also surprising when my mother offers to take the kids, which hasn't happened in awhile though. She's not much of a kid person. She and I only got along somewhat once I was in my teen years.. same with my sister. So I'm always shocked when she wants to see them or when she says good things about them (not that she ever says bad things... mostly she's indifferent).

Wow...thats cool of him. People rarely do surprise me in a good way but of course there are still a few good people in the world although the are getting rarer and rarer. I can't think of anything right of hand that anyone has done lately to surprise me but I know it has happened before.

So nice to hear this friend, surprises do come at times, yesterday i was in the market, an exstudent of mine came to me, touched my feet (our indian way of honoring a senior, teaher, guru), said Sir can you remeber, i was your student in 1973, you had expelled me from college, and i threaten to kill you!!
But later i realized my mistakes, you were right in action sir.
This was real surprising for me.
Thank you so much for this discussion.
Professor. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.
God bless you. Welcome always.

Yes they do sometimes suprise me..
You notice how sometimes if your car breaks down on a small road, and a complete stranger comes and helps you out.. Its amazing how that happens.
