Should I quit or go back at the right time?

For the past month, I wrote for an online writing hub. But because I was not used to writing an average of 8 articles per day, I kind of flunked and got terminated. However, they told me that I can re-apply whenever I want to. Do you think I still have that chance in the writing world or move on and find another full time job instead? :o

Hello, and welcome to MyLot. 8 articles is a lot to write, so I'm not surprised you couldn't manage it. I can manage 6 on a good day, and I've been writing for years. Most days I write between 2 and 4. I'd suggest you apply to join Helium. There's a lot of support there, and you can build up your online portfolio and your writing skills.

if you don't mind, may I know the link of Helium? Thank you! And, yah, it's really hard to cope up with their requirements. Maybe I should start on a small number of articles first before deciding in going back there.

Here's a link to my home page on Helium. Take a look around and see what you think. There's no pressure there - you can write as many or as few articles as you wish. : http://www.helium.com/users/303964 :

Only you know what you want to do, but speaking for myself, I know I could not write 8 articles a day. There are a lot of places to write online and make money, although I am not sure you could make a full-time living unless you were an accomplished writer. Why don't you find a site to write that doesn't have such a demanding amount of articles, and try that for awhile. If you are successful in writing a lot, maybe you can reapply. I would have to work up to that number, not expect that I could just start writing 8 articles without prior experience. Good luck in whatever decision you make.

I really took the challenge from there because I'm a Journalism graduate. But I was not really used to making 8 articles per day.. In fact, before I went to online writing, I was only writing one article per week for that newspaper I was writing for. You're right, I must practice more so that I'd be able to write a lot in the future. I'm also trying some writing sites out there. Thank you for your advice! :)

Hi Utakgaga, those who are doing article marketing are used to writing 20 articles per day. It is a matter of using different keywords, and rewrite the main points in different ways. I think you can work on the same method for the online writing hub. This method works as long as the site does not demand perfect English, and well-researched articles.
