How do I take my Screen Resolution off Default Setting?

When ever I try to change it , the scroll thing does not move. The Properties box is also grayed out. Everything on the screen is so big! Please help!

The video card is ok... i check it on device manager... and have no problem...thank for your respond.. I appreciate it..

That means that you are authorized to change it maybe you are the administrator but there is this configuration in your computer the limit you to change it even though you are the administrator I have encountered this once so I think you need to check your security settings first.

This is obviosly a graphics driver issue. If the correct driver is not installed then Windows will run it as a basic graphics card and utilise generic drivers. This seriously reduces the features available and also restricts the graphics to a far lower resolution.

try with uninstalling the current graphics card drivers and download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Your video driver for your video card might not be installed properly. You can check if it is on the device manager. Go to device manager, display adapter, under it you will see if the video driver is installed. If it says generic then it's not installed properly, reinstall it.
If it is installed properly, maybe your monitor does not support your video card. What are the specs of your video card and your monitor?
