what's the best way to relieve stress?

the things i usually do when i'm stressed out,i took time to nap for awhile.
To redirect my body & mind to the things i must do.
When i dont have the time no nap, i ate anything what my tongue wants to taste..
And lastly, i play with my son, it's the best way i relieve my stress. Seeing him smiling, hugging, & kissing me, makes me very happy..
how about you? what will you do when you're really stressed out?

Get a full body massage from a loved one. That's all you need to do. If you don't have a loved one, then you should find one.

But most of the time the very thing that really stresses me out is my love instead. Yes they can be very handy when the mood is right but most of the time i get very annoyed by him. He's not really the stress reliever type of a guy.

just take a deep breathe first and relax. try to sit down and don't eat a lot. drink water and avoid thinking about any stressful situation. if you can't still fight it then go and grab some funny videos or movies to watch. after a few minutes or hours you would feel that you are feeling better. i usually got stressed out after a long day of work. but i got to cope with stress by doing the things that i metnioned above. :)

i always worried about stress since i work really hard, so i found out how to prevent stress i always take care of my self i eat good food, i also take vitamins and every time i have plenty of time to rest i always sleep or just stay home i know how important it is so i always take my chances. so every time i'm at work i always feel okay at the end of the day..

hi gracielle I listen to classical music soft soothing, relaxing, I also apply a sweet smelling body lotion to my arms and legs. oh you have a little son, that's so lovely that's a wonderful way to unstress,nothing like a little love bug to hug you back and snuggle up against you.My
daughter was a cuddler when she was a toddler,pick baby up was one of her favorite expressions. she loved everyone and people loved her back too, we lost her at age 8 from pneumonia. I used to relieve stress by eating but then I gained too much and that's not good as I am a diabetic.

I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter, yes you're right eating a lot when we are stress gives unwanted gain weight.But in my case im lucky enough that whatever & how much i take in my body i still don't get too much weight. I'm lucky to have fast metabolism. Being diabetic was one of the irritating illness that we can have,because all of the time we have to check on whatever you eat, no sweets, no chocolates..there are so many nos when it comes to eating. Listening to soft music also creates a soothing feeling especially when we are really tired . What ever we eat, whatever we do, we really should avoid to take & eat too much for it might gives us hard time in the future. Have a nice day..

When I am stressed out, I pray first, listen to happy music while lying on the bed. After recharging my soul and body, I try to do some household chores or play with my daughter. You are right, being with you baby will make all the stress disappear and you will be motivated again to go on with life because of your baby, even if life is stressful.

You should do something you like, no matter if it is sleeping a bit, reading (that's what I do), talking to a friend or whatever it is that makes you feel better. If you have been stressed for a while, getting a massage or something like that in order to pamper yourself a bit is also a good idea.

One way to lessen stress is to do the things you like/love.. Whenever I am stress, I usually go out with friends.. watch movies. When I'm at home, I just surf the net.. Open my facebook and play some games. Sometimes I just take a nap to recharge my energy. There so many ways to relieve stress. Find time for yourself so that you won't get stressed out.

When I am stressed out, I take a nap to relax myself too. Usually what stresses me up is studying for exams. I would start stressing why I can't understand the material or how well I would do on tests. When my books start scrambling up my brain, I would feel so much better when I rest my head on my pillow. When I wake up I would feel so much better. Ah, the magic of sleeping.

I go out to our balcony, breath some fresh air, I just stayed there until I calm down. Or go to our bathroom when I need to cry. And same as yours I play with my 2 year old daughter, asked her to hug me and just by holding her in my arms makes everything brighter and positive again. And I also go online in my Facebook, see whose on my bestest friends are online and just burst out anything that causes my stress. I'm just lucky to have real friends like that, we are group of 8, and we've been friends since our first year in high school, and we've been together for 14 years now.

I dont stress very offten because i just dont allow much to bother me. On rare occasions when i am a bit overwhelmed and need relief the is nothing like a nice long bubble bath to do the trick, scented candels, music, bath oils... topped off with some chocolate icecream and im good !! Of course that doesnt work for everyone. One think i do before i even get out of bed is to just lay there and meditate for 20 min before getting out of bed, if you dont know how to meditate there are guided meditation that you can use, it really helps to get you focused and start your day off right.

Well when ever i get stressed out i mostly listen to music. It helps me to relax and divert my mind or i used to watch a comedy movie so that may also help me to laugh and release my tension

it depends on how stress i am..so far, im trying to reduced stress day by day,,i have to start my day right by reading the daily text..by that alone, im refresh,..
and during work hours, i always keep wearing my smile..after work, having a good night sleep really helps..

Each and everybody will have their own way to reduce their stress. Mine is to go to my favorite restaurant and eat slowly but heavily and return home and watch some tv programs of my choice. I feel relieved a lot by this method and I can carry on my regular duties freely thereafter.

Well, I use to eat and eat before to calm my stress and yeah it work the only problem that I got fat and fatter. So what I do now is talk to myself with positive words and play psp for little while. I also pray and put my faith in God to help me to overcome stress.

my stress remedy is through smiling and laughing out loud, somebody told me that it was the best medicine. And i've tried it always, yes indeed was a great help. Make more enjoyable the things you're always doing like playing with your kids, don't think anything that will put you into stress, always relax and feels like you can do all things positively.

There is no best way to relieve stress.The best way is the way that suit you best.Everyone has it's relieve ways,so the best suitable way is the best way to him to relieve stress.I often relieve stress by doing exercise,such as running,playing basketball,and so on.

well i took time to rest, relax my body and mind. listening to Christian musics and weigh up all the things happened. sometimes i look for a peaceful place where in i can reflect with the things that's happening in my life.;p
