Will India ever be a Super power...?

I am doubtful. I am doubtful because our problem is just too many. My view is also that we should not think of becoming superpower. If we become one, that's fine. But we should not aim for that. One problem with aiming to become such superpower is that country becomes gods, and people and morality are sacrificed at the altar of nationalism.

whats the need of india being a super power............i hate super power nations especially america who think they are world police........so we want unity and not super powers

I do not think India ever be a super power. We have no quality for becoming super power. Indian have High corruption. Indian have high population. Indian government play vote bank politics. They can not make a rule of two child. because one community can become angry. They can not hang terrorist because of votes. Does China do that? No. Naxal problem, Border Problem, Politics problem, People problem, Population problem.

no, not until the monster of poverty, illiteracy, corruption, unemployment which all are directly related to over population is controlled. one child every couple should be followed strictly. there is nothing great if u become superpower but your people are not affluent and happy. even china is not superpower in true sense but yes America is real superpower as of today.

i dont know our india will be a superpower or not but i think we will work hard in all fields then only we can be a superpower...and i think china is working harder than both US and india.....so the one who will work hard will be the superpower...i dont think india will be because india is been sick due to corruption and crime...... i am also indian and i also want india to be a superpower but if we will stop corruption then only this can happen
