Having a lot of responses in my discussion made me happy and also when there's somebody who would give me a BR(best Response). But compared to those two choices I'm happier if I would received a BR. Actually, I reviewed my best responses and I was shocked to see one of the discussions where there were about 77 responses on a mylotter's discussion and that mylot friend gave me the Best response. I was so happy for it! so how about you?

I am happy if I can get best response. In my opinion, Best response indicates that our response are chosen due to good quality response, helpful and descriptive. Even though it is could be subjective according to the member who started the discussion. At least, best response indicate the answer that needed by the owner of discussion.
While many responses in discussion indicates that our discussion attract other members. It is not necessarily indicates that discussion is good quality. It could be the discussion is chosen popular topic so many member get attractive to respond the discussion. Moreover, good quality discussion is rather hard to respond. We need to think harder and must have good knowledge to make good response.

Yes,obviously you would have felt great, but as far as i am concerned i am a bit new to mylot and have not actively participated in much of discussions.Yes its true i have started a lot of discussions but yet not actively participated in them completely. As far as i am concerned i would to love to get a BR rather than just comments,we know that without comment however one cannot get Best Response but however in order to get best response people should try to answer quality rather than quantity and firstly understand the question very well.I know i am getting a bit off track but to summarize yes definitely i would love to get BR rather than discussion and i would love to get a BR in future definitely
Thanks for starting such a topic :)

I know what you mean.
It means a lot more if you are awarded a BR in a discussion with a lot of responses than one with only a few (or one.)
I have recently been working on some of my old discussions to resolve them, and I will let them sit a LONG time because I'm so lazy about rewarding BRs
