Now a green card can be won thru a lottery ?

Well excuuuuse me!!! I DID read ALL the posts & I stick to what I said!!! Maybe you need to reread what Whiteheather said. She DID correct you as there IS a lottery for Green Cards. However she agreed with me that this particular site is a scam. She said btw the site you posted the link to is apparantly a scam site and is not affiliated with the government site which i posted! When I went to the link Whiteheather posted, it was obvious it was a legit government site. I still think the link you posted is a SCAM site. I'm sorry you're having a bad day!!!

ok. the site is not affiliated with the government.....I don't like the intentions of the site. I only asked for opinions and thoughts........ I know there is a lottery for green cards.......and also the possibility it is a scam site.... Whiteheather pointed this out to me. I am not defending her or you but I just thought it was strange there would be a lottery for a green card....simply put. I had no intentions of upsetting you or anyone else! I won't argue this point anymore. I do realize the site itself has an intention to bring in others who are not smart enough to fill out the paperwork,etc. I do and still understand your point.... Being upset with this discussion gets us no where but high blood pressure. I am sorry to have offended you and maybe even whiteheather too. For this I am very sorry. The site is valid to those who take it as such... It is highly possible it is a scam site but I will not defend the site , I merely was showing the members there is such a site for a lottery for a green card and asked for opionions and only got a case of arguments. after reading what whiteheather wrote I do now remeber this lottery being here for a long time. and yes seems to me that the illeagles that are here probably wont go for this as they probably are afraid like Whiteheatehr says . Now I know WHiteheather came in the right way and passed everything to be a citizen thats what we need here people to do it the right way. Think the feds should protect our borders ore effectively too. and we have had the law up for years that Arizona is now trying to do and think more states should follow siut

quita please check my response. Your discussion gives a completely wrong idea as to what this "lottery" really is. It does NOT just hand out green cards to winners. You seem to have over reacted to this without researching it. Not just sensationalizing it. As a one time legal immigrant who had a green card I can understand what this "lottery" really means.

I understand that Lakota but there is LOTTERY now for those illegals to use............ Our own country is now our traitor??? Still one member thinks it's a hoax and not a legit site. We still need illegals to go back home and try doing the right thing. I hate the new laws don't you? hugsssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I was fairly sure the site was not legit but still it's out there for all to see and take advantage of it indeed it is real. I am sorry but with all the things that our new President has done to our country I can see where this could be a real thing. I appreciate your input.. and true enough you could be right but still the percentages do not lean in that favor. The people of this US are taking some beatings due to our government allowing illegals into our country. I can see how an illegal with no green card( I also understand the cards are not green anymore...) but they would happily jump on this subject and try to get a years worth of US treatment which in fact our new President is making great strides to see to it these illegals are treated with more respect than us US citizens are. That's a scam? Okay, but I went & read Whiteheather's link, & I fail to understand how the legitimate site is really better. I think we need to set a moratorium on ALL immigration until we get our nation's borders straightened out. Just my tuppence... ONce again, real or a scam the truth is in our current state of affairs that immigration must take a back seat til we as a nation figure out what is going on............. I did attempt a stab at our President on this site was told he had nothing to do with this site. I fail to see the relevance..................but all the same it looks like a government site doesn't it? I do believe I have my rights , as stupid as they might seem to some to show what I've found in my surfing the web for interesting pieces of wisdom that should be checked out by my fellow mylot members. God Bless you Hatley! As you can read there are many who have different ideas on this discussion and the site itself. I too thought it was "off the wall" and have since learned that apparently there is such a thing as a lottery for a year of enjoying a green card and staying in our country. I truly thought it had to be an act of our government but was told no........... As I look at the site I see you are right in the fact it is out of context for a legitimate site and more than likely is set up for spammers who are only looking for email addresses and personal information. Amazing isn't it there can be so many different ideas and opinions on this site? I also posted a discussion on the proper protocol on our US flag and have not received as many responses as I had hoped for especially considering the feed back on this lottery site! How weird.. But thanks for giving me some measure of "being on the right track " this morning :) Once again, God bless you !

I do think you have the right idea here.... I wish I'd though of that sooner myself. As you might see there are several thoughts on this site. But as you say it's against the bible... hadn't thought of it that way. And I do thank you for bringing that issue up. Have a great nite. quita88
