Requesting Payment From Textbroker

I'm confused because in the email, they said they will process your payoff requests after you send them your W-9 form but according to their FAQ they will ask you to send in a W-9 form when you reach $200 and that if you don't send in a W-9 form, you can still accept orders but you cannot request payout.
So my question is if you have earned less than $200 from them, can you request payment if you haven't filled out a w-9 form?
It will be great to hear from you people who work for textbroker and have experience with this.
Thank you.

I did a blog post on these the other day.
From what I understand from their site you don't need to send in the W-9 form to them until you've reached $200 and you can complete work up to that value before sending in the form but you won't be paid.
I can't join this one because it's only for people in the US but I do find that a bit strange. It might be worth an e mail to ask for their reasoning behind it.

Great, I think I'll go email them to find out the reason behind it.
Thanks for your response.

I think they do that to verify that you are a US resident because it's only for people in the US.

Newest form of discrimination disguised behind "Due to technical reasons". How can you saturate the market while discriminating?
