3 years ago when it came time for us to spend our tax return, I got to get a stand-up freezer of my choice. My hubby pretty much left it all up to me to pick one out. So I decided to pick a Frigidaire Stand-up freezer from lowes. It still runs great, but the problem is that it has a control panel which is an awesome feature. It beeps to let you know if the door has been open to long. Plus it has a section where you can control how cold the freezer gets. Well just 3 days ago it started beeping so I started thinking great the boys are in the freezer getting Popsicles. I got up and checked and the door was fully closed. So there for there is no reason for the control panel to be beeping. So I open the freezer and made sure nothing was stopping it from closing. The beeping stopped for about 5 minutes and started back up. What is worst is that our warranty is no longer good now. So I took the panel out and checked to make sure that everything was in it's place and was not lose and popped it back into place and again not even 5 minutes later the beeping started again. So I just took the damn thing out because the beeping was getting annoying. Now the food is still frozen and the freezer is still running great and keeping the freezer cold. So would it be fine to keep the control panel out? Any suggestions would be awesome.

Hello, I never thought of that. So I am gonna go check out the site and see if they can help me then. I am hoping that it is not needed because if it is then I am going to have to deal with the beeping till March. Well fingers crossed.
