Why join PTC sites.

Is it really worth it to join PTC sites to earn money. You only earn about 5 cents yourself each day using them. I know that if you get referrals you can earn much more, but, there is usually a limit to how many referrals you can have, and you usually have to upgrade your account spending money to be able to get the amount of referrals you need to make money, so it seems like you actually aren't making money at all. Why not just spend all of your time on sites like mylot, because it is much funner and they even have referral programs too, and from what I know, you can have as many as you can get, which seems very fair to me. Why not even join a freelance writing site. You don't have to be a genius to write a movie review, favorite music list, top ten lists, etc. And if it is the clicking that you like, on some freelance writing site, you can click on each of your articles once a day, and earn money. I just don't know why people don't just take the time they do on PTC sites and put it into bigger and better things that will make you more money. Sure you will have to do more work, but it will pay off. Sure you only have to click on ads, but what do you get 5 cents a day? Compare that to writing 1 single article, which has to potential to earn at least 1 dollar, and then more later on.
