Dramatic Match of Italy

Italy finally eliminated from World Cup 2010 South Africa after beaten 3-2 by Slovakia. When i saw this group, i never expect this kinda result. This is indeed a surprise, for everybody i guess. It's a shame they didn't qualify. I think the absent of Buffon was a major impact to their defence, especially goalkeeper side, what do you think folks, same page? Despite the defeat, i think the match was a good match to watch, and dramatic indeed.

ya, even iam not italy people but this result make me dissapounted. but i think italy deserve not to be qualifying because slovakia and chile is more good than italy in this world cup. and i think it`s time for cannavaro, andrea pirlo to retired from italy national teams. dont dream again for them play in european cups in 2012. and Italy must get a good goalkeepers to be reserve for buffon. i think marchetti is not good as goal keeper for italy.

I guess it's a shame, since Italy have a good reputation, big names, and good tradition in soccer generally. If they're qualified, the round of 16 would be interesting, tho i'm not the fan of Italy.

It is very unfortunate to Italy. They was beaten by new comers. Italy, the big team which always appear in semifinal and final World Cup has to be eliminated earlier. This is the worst history for their football association. Indeed, the game last night was very interesting. Even though Italy has left two goals behind Slovakia, they keep fight although they has to admit that Slovakia was better. They couldn't beat Slovakia spirit.

Who's gonna expect Slovakia to qualify? I think no one. I too, thought Italy and Paraguay will qualify. If only Italy have better defender and or goalkeeper, the match probably end-up with 2-0, so shame Italia.

Actually it was quite boring for the first 20 minutes, and average for the next 50 minutes. The contest only really broke out in 70th minute after Italy went 2 goals down. Then they really started fighting back the way Italian teams are supposed to fight and then it turned out to be a classic battle. Italy could have equalised through the last quick from the free kick, but it was not to be and they are out of the world cup. Ironically poor defending doomed their defense of the world cup!! Cheers! It was an amazing match undoubtedly.It was really unfortunate to see the defenders exit the way they did especially after coming up with such a wonderful performance.The last 10 minutes were intense and it could have very easily been 3-3 if Italy wasn't denied a goal which they almost did and was cleared by the Slovak defender from behind the goal line.Also there were off sides to add to the woes of Italy.But there's no denying that Italy played superbly and the last 10 minutes were a treat to watch where 3 goals were done.Bad luck Italy, better luck next time!!

It really was an exciting game, but I think what was really decisive for the elimination of Italy was the lack of will and attention of some players. That third goal for example, if the team was really focused not have taken. And that allied with bad luck and the competence of Slovakia.

Yeah, the match was exciting. It's so shame, since Quagliarela could score 2 more goals if he's not offside, and the first goal i think crosses the line, but no one seems have the same opinion with me.
