Yes and what's even better is that both finished the bottom of their respective groups. Both teams came into this world cup with the same coaches and more or less same players. For France this was a disaster outing as there was in fighting and literally no trust on the coach by the players. For Italy probably this was the worst defensive unit as though it was the same bunch which won the world cup 4 years back, they were older and slower and thus not able to repeat the heroics of 2006. It is unfortunate, two big team have to back to their home earlier. Two big team have to be eliminated in elimination round. Ironically, Italy and franc are two finalist in World Cup 2006 and Italy was the champion. Whether their performance dropped dramatically or their opposite is really better? Despite the poor performance of Italian player, I salute to Slovakia team. They show spirit to win and Italy need more luck to win.
